Can't Open User Interface
Yep - that was it. There was another AAO ICON that got shoved into the hidden box when I added a bunch of shortcuts to the taskbar. Clicking that opened the GUI. Thanks for reminding me - never thought to look there. I was going nuts trying to sort this out! I love and use this program every day. If there's anyone out there considering whether or not to use this program I hope you're reading this. It's an extremely stable program obviously backed up by stellar support. Thanks again "Lorby_SI" !

Can't Open User Interface
Tried that - no joy. A new app settings directory was added by Windows and the config file looks identical to the previous one. Is there a way to completely remove the app and it's settings and do a fresh install? Or, maybe change the config file in LWR?

Can't Open User Interface
"Suddenly" I cannot open the UI. Also, MSFS 2020 doesn't ask to open it either (was set as run as administrator). The program functions fine as used with my stream deck plus but just can't open the UI. Just uninstalled and updated to latest as of Feb 18 2025 and still no joy. Pressing the shortcut created does nothing - other than probably starting the program. It used to open the UI so I could see the settings. But there is no UI appearing. I do see it running in task manager background services.

SDK for PMDG 737NGX
Wow, didn't expect those responses. I'm majoring in aeronautical engineering. I'm working my way thru school looking for ways to stay there not spending on crap beer or cars. Our group's graded senior project is to build a working flight simulator. We have pooled what little extra money we have in order to purchase the flight model and basic components which we'll use to build our own interface as well as a learning experience. If you're trying to be clever with your comment re enough money to consider an SDK, it had the opposite effect. Also, hard as it is to believe, not everyone goes to school to party and not everyone has the luxury of spending money on crap beer and cars. Have a little compassion guys and if that's hard for you then limit your replies to something constructive. Based on the other replies which actually were helpful, we did purchase the 737NGX yesterday and it looks like the SDK will work just fine for us. So, hopefully this is the end of this thread and you can stop trying to be clever.

New product - new install 737ngx. i7-3.5GHz-16GB Ram-Win7x64-1TB SSD-21.5MBs download-virus scan off-no other apps running-FSX in C:/fsx not x86-FSX with Acceleratorpack Now past 3-hours and still "Installing Direct-X" going back to 2007 and forward to 2010 and repeat - slider is progressing to about 75% but L O N G time. Seems as though application installed quickly but this install of DirectX seems ridiculously slow. This was of course initiated by the v1.0 installer as purchased. Is this normal??

Support Forum - Your Feedback Please
Well I just ordered it. The install is in it's 1-1/2 hour point downloading and installing Directx from 2007 forward. This is a surprise. Running W7x64, 21.5 MBs download connection, virus scanner off, not installing to x86 directory. Over 90-minutes now. Slider is about 50% complete. Does this sound right - anyone?

737NGX Install vs FSX sp2 or FSX w/acceleration pack
Hello All PMDG states addons require FSX/SP2. I have FSX with Acceleration pack installed. MS says do not install SP2 if you have acceleration pack. So, is it permissable / correct to install 737NGX into FSX w/acceleration pack and ignore the sp2 requirement? Thanks in advance!

737NG Install vs FSX sp2 or FSX w/acceleration pack
Thanks, the main "shop" page for FSX addons doesn't include the "or" so thanks for clarifying!
