NAT no more available?
Hi, Just to signal that it seems like FAA discontinued the download page for the NAT... https://www.notams.faa.gov/dinsQueryWeb/advancedNotamMapAction.do They don't therefore work anymore in LNM... 😞

Little Navmap 3.0.17 released
arrex replied to albar965's topic in Little Navmap | Little Navconnect | Little Logbook Support ForumIs it possible that range rings cause problems? Because while using LNM for many flights i use them to mark the arrival parking gates.... and after few weeks I might have 10-15 rings around the map (but not in the area where i plan the route)....

Little Navmap 3.0.17 released
arrex replied to albar965's topic in Little Navmap | Little Navconnect | Little Logbook Support ForumIt's FSX database, but runnning unlinked to any simulator. Funny enough: i rebooted the system and now LNM is way faster... and the line does not disappear anymore.... i am not sure what happened! I know that the program was running since several days. Maybe some memory leaks or similar can cause the slowdown and the visualization problem? I will keep the program running for some days to see if the problem reappears....

Little Navmap 3.0.17 released
arrex replied to albar965's topic in Little Navmap | Little Navconnect | Little Logbook Support ForumThat's not the reason for sure. I use LNM detached from any simulator (and i don't have MSFS at all).... what i noticed is that dragging long routes recently cause a lot of stuttering... once that was not the case... will dig on this more.

Little Navmap 3.0.17 released
arrex replied to albar965's topic in Little Navmap | Little Navconnect | Little Logbook Support ForumHi, I noticed a severe degradation of performance with this version. Is it me of anybody else had the same feeling? Moreover, I see lines stretching distant waypoints (like airways or even the route path) disappearing when zooming in "too much" (well actually not so much too much!). The problem was there before, but seems to me much worse in this version...

Little Navmap 3.0.15.rc1 released
arrex replied to albar965's topic in Little Navmap | Little Navconnect | Little Logbook Support ForumHi, i noticed with this version a minor glitch in the display of airport information on the moving map: once a flight plan is established I get the airport information (departure and arrival), including name, CT frequency, ATIS etc printed twice: once as part of the flight plan, once part of the map display. These double print are often partially overlapping, making the reading more difficult. I guess the instance "part of the map" should not be displayed....

Search for parking at arrival airport
Dears, is there a convenient way to do it? I would suggest an additional function which exactly mirrors the one for departure airport; i.e. you can specify the parking spot at the arrival airport and that will highlighted in the map (making it easier to locate). In the meantime, what i am currently doing is quite clumsy, and maybe somebody can suggest a better way of doing it: I am reversing the flight plan and then i can use the existing function by selecting the "departure parking" (which will be arrival then)...

Little Navmap 3.0.12 released
arrex replied to albar965's topic in Little Navmap | Little Navconnect | Little Logbook Support ForumI confirm LNM works with scenery library created from FS9. That's because the bgl format for facilities for FS9 is THE SAME as FSX. But of course you will miss all functions related to simconnect. So only planning is possible. There is no flight logging, tracking, aircraft performance extraction, etc....

Control over weather download
Hi, yes it indeed should only apply to downloaded weather. To be honest, i would not think to be an added value to retreive "paused" data on startup, but you are the boss 🙂 My 2 cents: just menu entries to control the download Auto -> Acts like now. Periodical refresh. Pause ->Stop the update, keeps in memory the data available Refresh -> Triggers a download now and move into "auto" state Easy peasy.

Control over weather download
well... i never mentioned that weather data should be retained after restart! 🙂 That's way too much... i just proposed a "pause" on weather refresh, keeping the data currently available in memory.

Control over weather download
Hi, his might have been already discussed, but I cannot find anymore the topic. Is it there a way to control when to download the weather (like a "download now" button) and then stop updating the weather? This is useful in the following scenario: for free-time limitation, i often plan the flight way before (sometimes 1-2 days) the execution. That implies that i download the weather in my weather program (FSGRW), plan the flight accordingly, compute performance, and then the next time i have a gap in my agenda I execute the planned flight. But at that point LNM has updated the weather and i cannot relay anymore on what's displayed. If there is a way to download and then avoid further updates, that would be great. Note: i am not talking at all of downloading PAST weather.... just blocking the "weather refresh" routine
