  1. I wont upgrade until a 64 bit system that can utilize my modern hardware is available. Till then Ill still and love to use my CS757 home built simulator for FS9. No problems here !
  2. I know this Post is about 2 years old. I have been running CS757 for FS9 for over 2 years and have not had any such thing happen as you say it does. My sim works 100 % of the time, The Key is Most updated version of CS and FSUIPC. as well as a good system, but being in 2016 this is not hard to come by. Personally running I7 4790k 4.7 GHZ 16Gb ddr3 1600 ram, R9 390 8gb and 2d is not DEAD. us Cockpit builders NEED 2d for our simulators. I used FS panel studio to edit the CS757 and create a 2 panel 2 display MIP with real size and position gauges. The gauges are so Detailed expanded up to nearly 6 inches, retaining the detail and also the included WX on the map is key! This is the custom 757 simulator I am building with the CS757 works 100% every flight and over 400 flights. I have also created a custom Delta 75S weight and balance for her to use with my RW Load and balance sheets.
  3. No problem ! same goes for the autopilot ! just have to make a duplicate folder and rename it the CAB folder so you can open and save files it in. go to the autopilot panel this is how i mapped my AUTOPILOT DISCONNECT BUTTON to my yoke, open CG_AP_DisBar.xml and you can use this <Gauge Name="AutopilotSwitch_CG005sw2" Version="1.0"> <Update Frequency="10"/> <Element> <Position X="0" Y="0"/> <Select> <Value>(E:TIME OF DAY, enum) 1 != (A:LIGHT PANEL, bool) && if{ 2 } els{ 0 } (L:AP_Dis,bool) + </Value> <Case Value="0"> <Image Name="AP_DisengageBar.bmp" Bright="No"> <Axis X="0" Y="0"/> </Image> </Case> <Case Value="1"> <Image Name="AP_DisengageBar.bmp" Bright="No"> <Axis X="0" Y="-3"/> </Image> </Case> <Case Value="2"> <Image Name="AP_DisengageBar_n.bmp" Bright="Yes"> <Axis X="0" Y="0"/> </Image> </Case> <Case Value="3"> <Image Name="AP_DisengageBar_n.bmp" Bright="Yes"> <Axis X="0" Y="-3"/> </Image> </Case> </Select> </Element> <Mouse> <Area> <Tooltip>Disengage Bar</Tooltip> <Cursor Type="Hand"/> <Click>1 (>L:AP_Dis_On,bool) 103 (>L:iSndPl, position) </Click> </Area> </Mouse> <Keys> <On Key="74">1 (>L:AP_Dis_On,bool) 103 (>L:iSndPl, position)</On> </Keys> </Gauge> NOW WHEN YOU PRESS J IT WILL TOGGLE THE AUTOPILOT DISCONNECT KNOB on the AP
  4. Hey Craig! Great News! I have discovered a way to map any KNob or button the CS757 to a key and then assign the key using FSUIPC to a joystick Button!!!!! You will need to first Navigate to your Gauges/cs.b757.oh.CAB Open the file, and copy all the contents, then rename the CAB to something else, and make a new folder. copy the contents, and rename the folder to cs.b757.oh.CAB confirm the file extension change, This will allow you to save a edited XML inside the cab. Ok SO lets start out with Assigning Key to Engine start Selector Knob 1 Find. in the .CAB folder . 757_OH_13_RamAirTurb_1.XML Open it using Notepad, it looks like this <Gauge Name="757_OH_13_RamAirTurb_1" Version="1.0"> <Update Frequency="10"/> <Element> <Position X="0" Y="0"/> <Select> <Value>(E:TIME OF DAY, enum) 1 != (A:LIGHT PANEL, bool) &&</Value> <Case Value="0"> <Image Name="757_OH_13_RamAirTurb_1_bkg.bmp" Bright="No"/> </Case> <Case Value="1"> <Image Name="757_OH_13_RamAirTurb_1_bkg_n.bmp" Bright="Yes"/> </Case> </Select> </Element> <!--L Valve Light--> <Element> <Visible>(A:Electrical master battery,bool) (A:General eng1 generator active,bool) ||</Visible> <Position X="73" Y="179"/> <Select> <Value>(L:LEngValveFlag,enum) (L:TestLamps,bool) ||</Value> <Case Value="0"> <Image Name="Off.bmp" Bright="no"/> </Case> <Case Value="1"> <Image Name="757_OH_13_RamAirTurb_1_Lmp_Valve.bmp" Bright="Yes"/> </Case> <Case Value="2"> <Image Name="757_OH_13_RamAirTurb_1_Lmp_Valve.bmp" Bright="Yes"/> </Case> </Select> </Element> <!--R Valve Light--> <Element> <Visible>(A:Electrical master battery,bool) (A:General eng1 generator active,bool) ||</Visible> <Position X="280" Y="181"/> <Select> <Value>(L:REngValveFlag, enum) (L:TestLamps,bool) ||</Value> <Case Value="0"> <Image Name="Off.bmp" Bright="no"/> </Case> <Case Value="2"> <Image Name="757_OH_13_RamAirTurb_1_Lmp_Valve.bmp" Bright="Yes"/> </Case> <Case Value="1"> <Image Name="757_OH_13_RamAirTurb_1_Lmp_Valve.bmp" Bright="Yes"/> </Case> </Select> </Element> <!--Kolpak Air Turb--> <Element> <Position X="61" Y="9"/> <Select> <Value> (E:TIME OF DAY, enum) 1 != (A:LIGHT PANEL, bool) && if{ 2 } els{ 0 } (L:OR001cv2Pos,position) 100 div + </Value> <Case Value="0"> <Image Name="757_OH_13_RamAirTurb_1_Colp_Cls.bmp"/> </Case> <Case Value="1"> <Image Name="757_OH_13_RamAirTurb_1_Colp_Open.bmp"/> </Case> <Case Value="2"> <Image Name="757_OH_13_RamAirTurb_1_Colp_Cls_n.bmp" Bright="Yes"/> </Case> <Case Value="3"> <Image Name="757_OH_13_RamAirTurb_1_Colp_Open_n.bmp" Bright="Yes"/> </Case> </Select> </Element> <!--Lampa Press--> <Element> <Visible>(A:Electrical master battery,bool) (A:ELECTRICAL HOT BATTERY BUS VOLTAGE,bool) ||</Visible> <Position X="77" Y="53"/> <Select> <Value>(L:RATPressOn, bool) ! If you hold both CONTROL and SHIFT 256+256 + key. Lets take 72 which is H and copy the code we saw earlier into the key code like this. so Keys> <On Key="72">4 (>L:iSndPl, position) -1 (>L:OR006kn5On, bool) </On> </Keys> Now when you press H the Left Engine start Knob turns to Ground !!!!!!!! also remember that its a click command you are copying to run as a key, So its a single click so the CS757 will automatically place the Onscreen Knob back to Auto when start is done. youll notice that -1 entries move things to the left or counter clockwise and 1 moves them to the right, This entry must be added after the MOUSE section the last section of the XML. this is how my xml at the bottom works it starts right after the mouse section stops., I have 2 Key entries for both the left and right engine start knobs, representing keys H and I see here </Mouse> <Keys> <On Key="73">4 (>L:iSndPl, position) -1 (>L:OR006kn5On, bool) </On> <On Key="72">4 (>L:iSndPl, position) -1 (>L:OR007kn5On, position) </On> </Keys> </Gauge> Hope this helps! I am able to map every single knob and button In the plane to match up to my real overhead ! Any questions please feel free to ask !
  5. Hey everyone, I am a sim enthusiast and only fly the 757-200 I fly the Captain Sim 757 for fs9 for years and have made a custom simulator using the software. My pc specs are AMD FX-8120 4.2ghz 16bg DDr3 ram AMD 7970 running 3 x 1 eyefinity for top outside view 5760x1080 running, dualhead2go 3840x1080 for bottom custom mip panel I used FSpanelstudio for my custom CS757 MIP i made, and use a teclast a10 tablet for my CS757 FMC connected via AIRDISPLAY connected via wifi that makes my tablet into a extended display. This is the Captains MIP panel created with FSpanel Studio, This is the center eicas screen This is the center eicas in fspanelstudio I made a custom Center pedestal with fuel cut off switches and using my dual Saitek Throttles Made a custom Spring detent Flap Lever and B757 handles from www.flightsimpm.com This is my new Overhead panel i had made for me, I made the korry switches, soon to be installed and wired up, ... the switches are illuminated too! I am somewhat Obsessed, I have the Real b757 QRH, and the FCOM in binders from the plane, I Have also Modified the Weight and Balance station load data to match a 757-200 Delta 75x. I have learned the real CG% and datum for the plane any more information message me. Thanks all for watching! Any questions please ask !
  6. I know this is an old thread, I Currently use FS9 and CS757 i made a custom 757 Simpit, i edited and created my own MIP from the captain sim 757 panel and 2 monitors. I use ATI 7970 card, running 3x1 eyefinity 23" displays and dual head2go for the bottom 2 23" displays, on the same card. I run windowed Mode, top display 5760 x 1080. bottom display 3840x1080 off the dual head2go. i also use Airdisplay to run my Cs757 FMC through wifi, that makes it an extended monitor, I am willing to replicate this setup with PP3D in windowed mode? PC specs. AMD 8120 4.2 ghz 16gb DDR3 Ram 7970 amd card soundblaster SBZ 256 GB SSD 2TB Sata drive
