  1. Hello everyone, I've just downloaded some skins for the a2a comanche and wondered how I would pronounce the call sign for VH-DOE in the UK on vatsim? I have previously been using registrations like G-ASGF which would be annunciated "Golf Alpha Sierra Golf Foxtrot" until ATC shorten it, but is this the same with the aforemtioned reg? Many thanks in advance, Kieran
  2. Ah, this makes sense now. I'm using the x55 rhino with switches assigned for the trim wheel. I will try and plug it in after I have started p3d. Hopefully the update will fix it. Thanks for the advice!
  3. It's more the issue that the wheel moves all the way down without an input. I therefore cannot turn on autopilot as the movement of the trim wheel turns it off (as should be expected). I cannot override the movement of the wheel, as when I do it moves straight back down. This means that on rotation I am pitching up to about 40 degrees because I can't adjust the trim wheel without it moving all the way down by itself.
  4. Hello all, I've just purchased the pmdg 737 for p3dv3. Having loaded it up and prepared to take it out for a flight, I noticed an issue with the trim wheel. Having pushed back, the trim wheel moved all the way down (trim up) and, no matter how much I moved it back to the centre it would keep trimming back to the bottom. Any ideas? Kieran
  5. I have version 3.0.1 installed, which I only downloaded a couple of days ago. Has there been any newer versions than this?
  6. Transpires that ftx central needed updating. All sorted now! Just to sort out the poor fps with aerosoft airbus and I'll be happy! Transpires that ftx central needed updating. All sorted now! Just to sort out the poor fps with aerosoft airbus and I'll be happy!
  7. Mathias over at aerosoft has alluded it being something to do with the weather radar constantly scanning, rather than importing directly from the weather engine. They have said that they are not going to be fixing the fps issue as it's "only affecting a few users and not the majority". I'd argue that most are experiencing issues. It's painful trying to fly anywhere with such poor fps. 8. Is anybody else suffering MAJOR FPS loss with the Aerosoft Airbus' in P3dv3? I can get a comfortable 30fps (locked at 30) with default a/c sat at UK2000 Heathrow Xtreme with ASN, FTX, Vector, Open LC and a decent level of UT2 traffic, but the minute I switch the a/c to the 'bus I am down to 7-10 FPS. This surely can't be right?! I was using it in FSX with little issue, but it's literally ruining my P3d experience
  9. I have only installed add ons that have a V3 installer - it's beyond my comfort levels to attempt it any other way! Alas, I still can't seem to get Vector road lights working.
  10. Hi everyone, I've just installed p3dv3 along with the various add ons that I was running in fsx. Everything is going smoothly, but for some unbeknownst reason I cannot see orbx vector lights in the sim. I get an error in the log when exiting p3d which states that it failed to load orbx lights. Any ideas? Unfortunately I'm using my phone to post, so don't have the actual wording of the error log to paste in.
