  1. He's the same guy that did the FSX vs FSX SE one
  2. Just so we're all clear here this isn't my video, it was just made by a very good friend of mine and I decided to share it so more people can actually see the superiority of V3 but thanks from us both! Yeah sorry about that should have made it clear that it isn't my video haha  the person who made it is a good friend of mine though, just thought I should share to educate the doubting masses
  3. V3 brought every single thing we had hoped for in a staple replacement for FSX. It's safe to say Lockheed have gone above and beyond our expectations and V3 is WELL deserving of another $60 or $200..A REAL first impressions...not just talking about updates and changes with default scenery...certain popular youtubers should have done better.. Mind I remind you every single essential add-on works albeit with some tweaks, though all should have updated installers to rectify any issues with installation. All in all, to you nay- sayers, I extend a giant WE TOLD YOU SO
  4. "CTP" is 'cross the pond'. It a VATSIM event taking place in two weeks.
  5. This is just my opinion/suggestion, but I think there should be a small sale for Scenery for arrival & departure airports for CTP. Like I said this is just a *hopeful* suggestion
  6. Someone in the FSX facebook group brought up, what is to me, an interesting question. With the coming of Windows 10, what does that mean for us. Better compatibility than windows 8.1? He went on to say that he has the windows 10 technical preview and has FSX running on it. Also, for those of us who have Steam edition, will it run since SE is optimized for Windows 8.1? Thoughts?
  7. Ah, I see. So you'll get more cores to work with with an Intel processor right? Since AMD doesn't have hyperthreading?
  8. Nice. Which is better on frames? PMDG 737 or aerosoft's a320?
  9. My navigation skills are pretty good. I haD the QW 757 on my boxed FSX. I just feel the need for something a little more complex. Thanks for the welcome Doug. I was afraid of forums before haha. I forgot the NGX doesn't work with SE yet. I'm being drawn toward the Airbus because by all accounts I heard its better on frames, plus it has an installer for SE. Saves me the headache.
  10. I will be buying FSX:SE in a week or two and will buy my first payware aircraft. The system I'm going to be running it on isn't a tank like most of your PCs. I was wondering which aircraft is easier of the frames..Aerosoft's NEW a320/321, iFly 737 or PMDG 737. Also I've been poking around elsewhere and came across the affinity mask tweak and how it supposedly allows FSX to use more cores? Can someone clarify this for me, I'd be very grateful
