  1. Yeah I see a mismatch as well. But I also (still) notice that traffic constantly appears / disappears / appears / disappears. And that is reflected in PSXT as well. So I have written to RT about that.
  2. Okay thanks. I will then contact Realtraffic for this. This is the difference I see:
  3. I understand, but can you confirm that when you change from spotting mode to PSXT, a lot of flights on the radar disappear? at LPPT the landing aircraft are now only showing up when on final, but if in spotter mode, the flights can already be tracked before they are on final. I guess it's something with the data stream from RT. as PSXT is doing exactly what it should. But the data is really interrupted compared to last week when I used it on Thursday. Aircraft are showing up, then disappearing, showing up again, etc.
  4. Hi all, after uninstalling and reinstalling everything, traffic at EHAM is normal again (altitude-wise). However now at LPPT, traffic is landing in the ground.. 😞 However, I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing lack of data in Realtraffic: - When switching to Spotter Mode in Realtraffic, a get a lot more traffic than when I have ' PSXT ' selected. - There seems to be a lot of interruptions in data compared to last week. Traffic is showing up, then disappearing, showing up again (especially when taxiing out or landing/vacating the runway). Anyone else noticing this? I am spotting from LPPT
  5. For AIController I basically use default settings. However I turn Separation off (0) and also the Holding options to (0). And turn enhanced mode off.
  6. Hi Kiek,

I saw you closed the topic in which I said the aircraft were floating above the ground. Happy to say that I uninstalled everything (PSX, Parkpos, AIL, Realtraffic), reinstalled it, and now aircraft are at correct altitude in EHAM.

What I did notice today (at multiple airports) is that Realtraffic Radar shows a lot less aircraft when I set it to 'PSXT'  instead of 'Spotting Mode' .  Also there seem to be more live aircraft in PSX when I set it to spotting mode.

What I also noticed (have been spotting at Lisbon today) is that aircraft are often lost on ground for a few sec.  They also disappear from the Realtraffic radar, and then pop back up a few seconds later.

Don't know if these problems are RT related, or PSX related. Maybe you can help me get the settings right for everything to work fine as it does for you 🙂

I have reopened that thread. Please continue there, then others can read about it too.

Btw its my birthday today so i have not opened my sim 😉

  7. Thanks for your reply! I will test this in the coming days. Furthermore thanks for this majestic piece of software
  8. You mean EHAM.xml? The one you uploaded to your website today 🙂 I am now spotting at LPPT, all goes well there, so it indeed seems to be a problem with Amsterdam (maybe the data in Amsterdam?). When I look at Realtraffic radar, it states taxiing aircraft at -210 feet. Maybe there's a problem there?
  9. I am using your EHAM.xml. Almost all aircraft float along the runway until the point they are already exiting the runway, that's where they touch down.
  10. Hi, I have been using PSX See Con traffic for a first time since a while. What I notice is, (I have only looked at EHAM), traffic seems to be landing in the air and doing their landing roll in the air as well. Weird thing is that when they come off the runway they are usually on the right altitude. Any idea what might be wrong here?
  11. Hi all, Just found out with this thread that AIController and AI Separation are still able to be used in P3D... Didn't know that. But now I have some very nice set-up for traffic spotting! Combination of AIController, AIsep, and ATCAPI gives me at Lisbon: - AIcontroller makes AI flying STARs - AIseparation makes sure they are being separated - ATCAPI makes sure that between every landing a take-off fits in on the same runway
  12. You can change the runway usage yourself using Airport Design Editor
  13. Maybe try without the approaches and see if they land on the correct runways. If so, there’s something wrong with the approaches you specified
  14. Curious as well. Maybe a glimpse of the features we can expect? 🙂
  15. Curious about this as well. Looking forward to it!
  16. Ok, I can confirm that ATCAPI gives an FPS loss for me as well. As far as I can tell it starts losing FPS as soon as the first arrival is on final. FPS loss is about 8-10 FPS on Flytampa Amsterdam (going from 33FPS to 24/25FPS). Disabled all my other addons, and ATC API seems to be the one causing the loss...
  17. I'm also noticing this, but only at bigger airports like Amsterdam. I doubt it has something to do with ATCAPI, but will test this as well. The FPS are around 28-35 when starting up with AI, and after 4 or 5 minutes they drop to 21-25
  18. Yes and that would also mean you can separate between pax and cargo; usually cargo airlines have a different ATC code (BAWC vs. BAW for example)
  19. Hi Federico. In relation to the ATCmodel feature; would it also be possible to force certain airlines to a certain runway? Would be a nice feature 🙂
  20. Hear hear! Would love to see the runway taxi speed for all AI arrivals indeed, for sake of quickly vacating the runway
  21. You should test it on GVA airport for example, Runway 05. which has a displaced threshold of 360 meters or something.
  22. No, that's not what I mean. I'm talking about the EnableRollThenTakeoff. When the threshold is further down the runway, the AI enters the runway before touchdown of the landing AI, and it takes off regardless of when the landing AI vacates the runway. So it starts the take-off roll while the landing AI is still slowing down on the runway. I have turned EnableFastTakeOff off.
