    Thanks for reply.. But such option doesn't exist within fsuipc. However I found an alternative way by leaving the 'Z' as it is in p3d controls and then assigning the button on the joystick to work as the 'z' key within fsuipc under button and switches. Works like a charm.

    I posted the same question in the p3d forum and wasn't sure if I should post it here instead. I'm looking for a way to assign one joystick button to enable and disable the AP in the dash 8 pro through FSUIPC. I read somewhere that I have to modify something in the ini file. But how?

    Hello, I would appreciate any help giving me to get my new PC the right settings in order for me to get maximum out of performance. I'm new to FSX as well as I'm new to the term "tweaks" which has to do with settings as far as I'm informed. New PC specs are: I7 4990K GTX 970 8 Gb ram. Thanks.
