Hi Martin, I've just seen the 2nd Video, the "World Tour". Is Dovetail Games going to fix the sky colours? (To look like the sky over Planet Earth)... I mean the video shows the sky appearing to be Full Purple, then Full orange then full shades of Cyan! I've never seen the sky look like that in real life. And I've Never seen purple clouds???

Martin, how long did it take to make the Flight School pre release video, that is not actual in game footage? Could these resources have been better used creating actual in game content?

There are NO MODS allowed!! Thats the problem! Its a Closed game! Check previous posts. There is no future potential! Dovetail will have to learn the hard way from this rediculous, close minded decision! Microsoft didn't make that mistake.....much like their windows platfrom, they very wisely encouraged 3rd party development and they created a Hot product! Prepar3d allows 3rd party addons Xplane allows 3rd party addons DCSworld allows 3rd party addons All highly desirable products

So Martin, why did Dovetail Games choose to use Non in game footage for the pre release video of flight school?....considering it may well be a miss representation of the actual final product?

And there it is! I would not preorder anything until i know Exactly what i am getting! Ok so why would you not use in game footage?

I'm sure it will,...It would be great if it was 64bit! That would be awesome. I'm curious to see how my current hardware enjoys P3D. I get good frame rates in FSX. its not uncommon for me to get well over 60fps-90fps with something like the A2A c172

Hi I just have a few questions if someone could please help me out before I purchase P3D as these items were not clear on the the P3D website. 1. Can I buy P3D from anywhere other than www.prepar3d.com? Or is this the only place to get it? (I've only bought products from Flightsim store before) 2. At the prepar3d.com website do I need to setup an account 1st? 3. At the prepar3d.com website, after purchase, can I download it as many times as I need (if my download fails or I lose my install for some reason). And how many times can it be downloaded? (is there a limit) 4. Can I use something like getright (free veersion) for pausing & resuming my download? 5. How big is the download file? (my ADSL2 is slow...3Mbps download) 6.Is the academic licence a once only payment? I would greatly appreciate help on these questions before I take the plunge, thanks so much :smile:
