  1. Hi CAptain, Is it allowed for both Private and Public networks? Thanks, Helton
  2. Hi Captain, In most cases, this kind of issue happens due to some firewall configurations. Possibly your firewall is blocking the traffic coming from the tablet. In order to try to fix this, can you please try the procedure below: To add an inbound rule for a program by using the Windows Firewall Control Panel program Open the “Control Panel“. Select “System and Security“. In the Windows Firewall section, select “Allow a program through Windows Firewall“. Unchecking the box to the left of the application name disallows it from accessing network resources, while checking it allows access. So please make sure VAInterface application has a check on the left box. If the program you wish to block or unblock is not listed, you can click the “Allow another program…” button to add it. Choose the application in the list and select “Add“. If the program is not in this list, use the “Browse…” button to select the program file manually. If you still have issues, please let us know. Kind Regards, Helton
  3. Hi Captain, In order for VCDU to be able to communicate with Prosim, both Prosim and VAInterface need to be properly configured: A - Prosim737 (main window) 1 - On the menu bar, click Config. 2 - Select Configuration and then the Drivers tab. 3 - Look for Generic COM Port/TCP driver and make sure it is enabled. 4 - Click on Advanced and then on TCP Communication - TCP Port , define the communication port (the default value is 8091). This port is going to be used at the VAInterface HOST configuration later on. B - Prosim CDU 1 - Start ProsimCDU and then click on the window background (dark) with the right mouse button. 2 - Select Config option. 3 - On the Options tab, define the CDU role for this particular instance (Captain CDU or F/O CDU): 4 - At the Drivers tab, define the TCP port under Generic TCP Driver: It is possible to setup more than 2 CDU instances, but each one must have its own TCP port. C - VAInterfaceThe VAInterface is done by manually editing the VAInterface.ini (located at the VAInterface installation folder) and filling out the following data structure under the [Prosim] tag: [PROSIM] HOST_PORT=8091 HOST_ADDR=127.0.0.1 CAPCDU=0 CAPSERVERPORT=8092 CAPSERVERADDR=127.0.0.1 FOCDU=1 FOSERVERPORT=8093 FOSERVERADDR=127.0.0.1 Note: the values defined here are only didatic examples and should be changed for real configuration. HOST_PORT - this is the communication port with Prosim737. It must be the same value defined on step A4. HOST_ADDR - IP address IP of the computer where Prosim737 is installed. Usually it is the same machine where VAInterface also runs, so the local host address (127.0.0.1) is used. If you have each software in separate machines, then enter the IP address of the Prosim737 machine. CAPCDU - enables (1) the conection with the Captain CDU. In case there is no Captain CDU instance, set this to 0 (zero). CAPSERVERPORT - defines the Captain CDU TCP port. Must be the same port used in step B4. CAPSERVERADDR - IP address of the computer where ProsimCDU is installed. Usually it is the same machine where VAInterface also runs, so the local host address (127.0.0.1) is used. If you have each software in separate machines, then enter the IP address of the ProsimCDU machine. FOCDU - enables (1) the conection with the F/O CDU. In case there is no F/O CDU instance, set this to 0 (zero). FOSERVERPORT - Define a porta TCP exatamente como configurado no item B4. FOSERVERADDR - IP address of the computer where ProsimCDU is installed. Usually it is the same machine where VAInterface also runs, so the local host address (127.0.0.1) is used. If you have each software in separate machines, then enter the IP address of the ProsimCDU machine. Also, on "Control Panel" it's necessary to select the profile "ProSim 737" Kind regards, Helton
  4. Hi Captain, In fact version 2.20.3 is the latest and greatest and is the recommended one to be used with Aerosoft. Using always the latest version we assure all the support and bug fixes are in place. Kind regards, Helton
  5. Hi Captain, we do nota have plans at this moment but we will evaluate. If we decide to go ahead we will let you know. Kind regards, Helton
  6. Hi Captain, We support all versions of P3D including 3.3.5. Kind regards, Helton
  7. Hi Timothy, Sorry for the late response here. The fact is that we will just be able to release a version of Q400 Virtual CDU for the Training version of Majestic Dash 8 Q400 add-on. As they are still developing some changes on their software, we will just be able to move on on our development after a BETA release is available, and there's no committed date for that. We will keep you posted once we have more news. Thanks, Helton
  8. Hi, That's correct. To solve this you just need to go to the Control Panel on the VAInterface and select the right airplane profile. Thanks, Helton
  9. Hi Pete, At this moment we do not have any plans for it, but we will take a look to see if we can support it in the future. Thanks, Helton
  10. Hi, At the first moment the support will be available for the MCP. We are working on the support for the Virtual CDU as well but as this is a more complex development it will take a little bit longer. Nevertheless, there will be no need to buy a new application., The support will be available on a new version of VAInterface software. Thanks, Helton
