  1. I prefer wheels to land anywhere, you only need 1, 2 or 3 points to put your wheels and the helicopter be "stable". With skids on uneven terrain is more difficult to find your stability and even you can get in ground resonance. For confined areas (or any place really) you can put your nose to the left a little with your pedals and see your landing area all the time through the window where your feet are.
  2. That limit bar in 135 kt is the maximum speed you can reach with engines off (autorotation) and the landing gear operation (up and down) if the landing gear's door are installed, if I remember correctly the Taog's one doesn't have them installed. Even if you had the landing gear's door installed you could fly above 135 kt with your landing gear down, what you couldn't do is lower or rise your landing gear above that speed.
  3. @outermarker I know that It depends on everyone likes but I have the Hughes and the AS365 and I prefer the AS365 above the Hughes for hand flying / sightseeing...the view from the cockpit is much better in my opinion, It's faster and in SAS mode flies better than the Hughes.
  4. I would ask in Taog's Discord, several users have the Puma X controls and, as far as I know, that controls are NO spring centered.
  5. Like this is what works perfect for me: ImgBBFly hosted at ImgBBImagen Fly alojada en ImgBB
  6. The FLY-THROUGH OFF is in green like SPRING CENTERED JOYSTICK or in grey like REDUCED TRIM SENSITIVITY?
  7. It's working perfectly on my end, Can I ask you what kind of joystick do you have and see a capture from the Taog's Ipad controls page?.
  8. It has the better of two worlds, you can fly it fully automated or, if you prefer that day, you can fly it fully manual. After flying it in SAS mode It's very difficult for me to go back to the Hughes 🥲
  9. If you want you can share here your mapping configuration and the Taog's Ipad control configuration (and what joystick you are using) and see if everything is as it should.
  10. Hi Ryan, maybe this video will help you a little:
  11. Basically there are several ways of flying this helicopter and they are modeled as the real helicopter: SAS mode: you don't have to use the Force Trim but you can still use the Beep Trim ( I think this option is very good for simulators and people with short spring loaded joysticks, other helicopters in SAS mode you can't use the Beep Trim). In this mode you can't use Upper Modes (like HDG, ALT...). ASE mode: with this one you have to use the Force Trim, Beep Trim, can use Upper Modes and you can fly through (you "force" your cyclic for a turn for example without pressing Force Trim and when you release the cyclic it will come back to the center position before your turn). Usually in this helicopter in ASE mode you keep pressing Force Trim to go to hover and to take off, when you reach the speed and the V/S you want (60kt and 1.000ft/min for example) you release the Force Trim (depends of your joystick, with a spring centered one once you release the Beep Trim you should release the joystick too and let it center otherwise you will be fighting the AFCS) and then use the Beep Trim to make the changes that you want, usually you don't use Force Trim again until you are going to land. During flight you use Beep Trim, fly through or Upper Modes but if you want to hand fly all the time the best way to do it is in SAS mode.
  12. Can you share a capture about your settings in the Taog's tablet (Controls) and what kind of joystick are you using ( spring centering, FFB...)?
  13. You need to asign TRIM RELEASE-PRESS AND TRIM RELEASE-RELEASE to button 9 and inside each one: TRIM RELEASE-PRESS: -Imput repetition marked TRIM RELEASE-RELEASE: -Imput repetition NO marked -Set control on release marked That way when you keep pressing your Trim you can move freely and when you release the button It keeps the position.
  14. Can you show us your mapped controls?
  15. In the HH65 you have the following SAR modes: IAS-VS: Combined — pitch holds IAS, collective holds VS. Automatically arms T-HOV (automatic transition to hover to 50 ft AGL). T-HOV: Transition to Hover — captures the current radar altitude and decelerates to zero airspeed. HOV AUG: Hover Augmentation — active stabilization in hover using OADS and the radar altimeter. And you can control them with the cyclic and collective: FD Slew switch (4-way) (cyclic): In IAS and IAS-VS modes: adjusts the airspeed reference. In T-HOV: adjusts lateral/longitudinal hover velocity. Inactive in HOV AUG. C-SYNC: Collective Sync — updates the VS reference in IAS-VS; adjusts the hover height reference in T-HOV / HOV AUG. Hover Beep Control (2-way) (collective): changes hover height reference by 3 ft per beep in T-HOV / HOV AUG. All this from the manual.
  16. Since iniBuilds took control of it the 225 is even worse than before, and I am almost sure they won't do anything about it.
  17. Four axes control your collective too
  18. Yes, the AS365 has three axes autopilot and the HH65 has four axes autopilot, both work with TDS and PMS 750 and the 530 from MSFS.
  19. I know that the price can be a "problem" but you are getting two almost completely different helicopters, the AS365 with an three axis autopilot and the HH65 with a four axis autopilot and SAR modes. This helicopter is in the midle of the old and modern school, you can fly both in SAS mode or in ASE mode (like ATT) with or without upper modes. I am not trying to convince you, as you said if you don't like the Dauphin is difficult to spend that kind of money on it. This afternoon there are going to be two streamings showing the product in YT, the first one that I shared in this post is from a Dauphin pilot with more than 6.000 hours on it, maybe he can convince you 😉 What I saw this past months in their Discord is that they are a very pasionate team and I want to help them economicaly buying this product, that way they can keep creating awesome products, right now they are the only hope creating good helicoptes for MSFS. I hope that they sell a lot of copies and Microsoft sees that there is an interest in helicopters and improve their ones because almost all that come with the simulator are a joke (especially the 225).

  21. I sincerely hope that Dave is doing well. I would like to know more about the future of this helicopter from Microsoft, as I said before in another post I only bought the premium deluxe for this helicopter and after a complete year waiting for an update now the helicopter is worse than ever. If the new team who did this only uptade is the one who's going to take care of it seems we will never have a good H225 in MSFS...so sad and what a waste of money.
  22. I hope one of those "things" is a King Air 😅
