  1. Well, my yoke arrived this morning - I can see why people are so impressed with this yoke. Some points about the yoke I have found, if you're interested.... 1. Real easy to assemble and set up - all done and ready to fly in MSFS within about 10 minutes. Didn't take long to assign the commands I wanted to the available buttons. 2. The clamp doesn't really work for me. For one, when fully unwound/opened, the screw clamp only just squeezed onto my desktop. But, I use my desk for other things so the yoke needs to be easily removed and later returned. It also seems to me that with the clamp bracket attached there isn't really anywhere on my desktop I can park the yoke when removed/not in use. However, I find that the yoke sits and stays quite nicely in position on my desktop without the need to clamp it down (noted though the Important note that "the desk clamp must be used..." sorry). With it just sitting unclamped on the desk I can do full aileron deflections and I can do full forward/nose down elevator without the yoke body moving and I can do elevator back/nose up without the yoke body moving except for about the last 2 cm of pull where sometimes the body moves towards me. I'm going to live with that (never did believe in full stall landings anyway) so that I can easily move the yoke body away when not in use. 3. I found the yoke movements near the central/neutral position to be fingertip light - small aileron and elevator corrections made by fingertip. This is precisely how I remember a real yoke to be. About 95% of the yoke inputs I do are in this region - so really great and realistic for me. 4. I've found a need to lower the elevator sensitivity in MSFS to around 60%. Flying the JPL C152, the pitch was really twitchy for me - much more so than I remember from my RL C152 time. I believe this is not an issue with the Fulcrum yoke but rather an MSFS C152 issue with the elevator axis being too sensitive and small elevator movements being overly effective. Haven't tried any other aircraft yet so not sure if this is a general issue for me or just with the JPL C152. 5. I need to recalibrate my left thumb to suit the yoke's hat switch camera POV control - it's positioned lower than what I'm used to with the HC Alpha and angled down a bit from the horizontal I think. 6. A little bit of rubbing noise with the yoke shaft when moving forward and back - but no worse (probably less) than my HC Alpha and I think this is a realistic sound anyway - some of the real life yokes got pretty noisy and floppy with use and time. 7. I do miss the master and mag etc switches on the HC body though but no big deal. I'm toying with the idea of addressing this by buying a Saitek switch panel. 8. The HC Alpha was good but this Fulcrum is much better for me - mainly because of the lighter yoke forces required near the neutral position. I would have stayed with the HC yoke but I had a component failure and another niggly issue. 9. Perhaps the thing I am most impressed with the Fulcrum is the customer service and interactions by the Fulcrum team (Chris). I've been keenly reading all the postings in this forum about this yoke and am just blown away by the prompt, considerate, helpful and very friendly responses from Chris. Well done. So, I'm really pleased that I spent money to get this Fulcrum yoke. John
  2. I seek advice please.... I purchased the JU52 but was a bit unhappy with the default cockpit camera position so I amended the JU52 Cameras file to move the eyepoint forward a bit and slightly right to the centre of the pilot seat. Now, when I press the view reset it takes me back to this altered position which suits me much better. I'm aware that I could have done something similar with the custom cameras system but I prefer this method of altering the default position. My question is though, now that my JU52 has a slightly amended entry in the Cameras file, do you think I might get issues or hang-up problems when MSFS does (or tries to do) an update (e.g. the pending SU6 or a world update)??? And/or, might I get some issues if the JU52 tries to update via the Content Manager??? I've kept a record of the original X and Z values for the camera position so I can change the file back to the original values if necessary - but do you think I will need to do this before MSFS gets updated? Thanks Regards John
  3. Perhaps I’ve missed something somewhere but in the PA44 is there a way to set the com switches to be able to transmit on Com 2? I can see how to set the buttons to be able to monitor/listen to Com 2 frequency transmissions whilst also monitoring Com 1. Typically, I use Com 2 to listen to the ATIS and communicate with Ground - I can listen to the ATIS but can’t communicate with Ground. Thanks John
  4. Found the issue and solution.... I’m not wanting the advanced motion features so I set all the sliders to zero except for the rotational motion speed which I set to 1.5. Seems that by setting the master directional motion slider to zero, that results in no directional motion at all so my arrow keys to move left/right/forward/back wouldn’t achieve any motion. Ii thought the settings were the same for the C172 but now see that those settings did have some value in the sliders for those movements. So, I need to have some value for each of those sliders. John
  5. In Preferences/Control Assignments I have forward/back/left/right assigned to the keyboard arrow keys and this works fine in the A2A C 172. I imported the presets into the A2A PA28 and they all work except the arrow keys dont move the view left/right/forward/back. I tried importing the assigments into the C182 and they work fine, looks like just don’t work in the Cherokee. Haven’t trued any other aircraft. Tried restarting everything, including PC restart but same issue. Tried disabling the advanced features but same issue. Any ideas as to what I’m not doing right or how to fix? CP version 1.0.19 P3D v4.2 WIN 10 Thanks John
  6. Thanks, I’ve got the panning working now with the hat switch.
  7. I think I found what I needed to do.... It appears that CP didn't recognise my Saitek Pro Yoke until I had moved the control column - i.e. left/right/nose down/nose up. After having done that I could assign the pan to the hat switch. Next issue I'm trying to resolve is why the zoom level resets to 56% every now and then? I normally operate on 70% and (I think) have set that up with the various presets ??? John
  8. I've not found how to set up the hat switch on my Saitek Pro Flight yoke to pan like it did prior to installing Chase plane. In P3D v4, I've unselected the hat switch for panning. In CP Control Assignments next to pan left and pan right under axis, when I click on 'blank' in the window that comes up, it doesn't recognise when I move the hat switch on the yoke - it's not making the assignment. It will recognise one of the Saitek throttle quadrant levers and it recognises if I turn the yoke (roll) but it can't recognise the hat switch. The hat switch was working fine yesterday before I installed CP. If I close CP or not load it when I start P3D, and assign the hat switch as previous then it still no longer works to pan the view. Perhaps by chance the hat switch button has failed at the same time as I installed CP??? I've tried to find an answer but may have missed it in the documentation. Help would be appreciated because now I don't think I can use the sim. Thanks John
