Here is tutorial how to: MSFS AI models downloaded and installed and NOT STREAMED. 1) enable all msfs ai models with Corstens Content disabler tool 2) Go to market place 3) select tab "My library" (pic 1) 4) Select tab "streamed" (pic 2). Search "air traffic aircraft" (pic 2). Select all of them and press "download" on the bottom 5) When downloaded, every aircraft is now labeled "ready to install". Select all and go to bottom and press "install". 6) When every model is installed, go to tab "installed" to verify (pic 4). 7) When models are updated, you are finding those in tab "downloads" and do again steps 4-5. š Now you can disable all the ai models with Content disabler tool and enable "models used by GAmod" with the tool. Do not use Military Mod with GAmod! And follow the Quick_step_tutorial_for_GAmod2024.txt in that zip. If you dont do the needed procedures with content disabler tool, there will be serious modelmatching problems. And make sure, your flyable 3rd party aircrafts doesent have islivetraffic=1 in aircraft.cfg.... otherwise those are also used by GAmod and we dont want it (makes performance bad). GA aircrafts used by Gamod has wing span“s and they are not able to park wherever. If you have that kind a behaviour, you have big planes enabled. With help of Littlenavmap“s dev Alexander Barthel, i was manage to tackle the performance kill bug (tries to inject model to same parking spot). So here we are: GAmod 2024 version 1.6 in now online: https://flightsim.to/addon/88965/gamod-2024 Changelog 3.5.2026 * this version is 100% SU5 combatible. * parking bug (performance kill) is now overrided by fixes on GAmod2024 flightplans. Many thanks to Littlenavmap“s dev Alexander Barthel to guide me to have information about airports with 0,1 or 2 parking spots. Now those airports doesent have flightplans exeeding the parking spot amount. When asobo fixes the bug, original flightplans will be added again to the pack. * I have added more traffic with airports that had only one flight, but 4 or more parking spots. * special traffic has temporaly removed from the GAmod pack, because modelmatching doesent work at all. With current SU5, it is injecting hot balloons to the airports and helicopters move in airport like airplane. Special traffic will be again included after Asobo fixes the modelmatching bug. I you want to continue using Special Models and Special traffic, do not delete those from previous version. But it is highly recodemmend not to use special traffic at the moment. * Remember to download and install MSFS AI models updates from MSFS2024 marketplace/Content manager, they have been updated for su5. This is the case, if you arent streaming those and have downloaded them. GAmod 2024 works better and models load faster, if the MSFS AI models has been dowloaded and installed in content manager. * Remember, GAMod 2024 doesent work, if you dont follow Quick_step_tutorial_for_GAmod2024.txt as for using Corsten“s Content disabler. KNOWN BUGS IN MSFS 2024 - There is still crucial parking bug affected to GAmod in SU5 ( https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/ai-aircrafts-trying-to-park-to-same-spot-kills-performance-su2-bug/713827/14 please vote) but this bug is tackled by GAMod latest update, but still there might be some airports in the world with this bug affected. - MSFS 2024 has very bad model matching, basicly it doesent have modelmatching atm. Well modelmatching could be the problem here. If you use say intensions and you have some models with it to use, for Military Mod you need to enable AI OFFLINE traffic method and MilitaryMod flightplans are then using same models that you are using with say intensions. So bad news is that i recodem to use MilitaryMod2024 alone without any other models.

i know, same .vbs scripts used that before with GAmod. I dont know what happened. Maeby next time i will put the zip under password. But you can go to windows defender settings - protection history and let windows download the files from there. Maeby you have to start download again after that.

There is no kodiak in gamod. I assume you have it in your community as flyable aircraft it has isairtraffic = 1 in aircraft.cfg. Do you have littlenavmap and do you see traffic around you? Edit. It seems that KPVF is lacking traffic. Only 4 VFR flights. I will make now more traffic there. I will upload here fix for you to test.

That trafficaircraft.bgl file is no more the case. It is empty bacause MSFS doesent use it anymore. AI traffic is built in and thats why it must be disabled in content.xml via my content disabler tool. Rememeber also disable AI airliners and GA models with the tool. And enable GAmod used models only with last stage of the disable procedures. In my discord is several users that has working GAmod with store version. Come there to get support!

This means lower size zip and more models and liveries. Only liveries and some .cfg files are now in the pack/zip. - Because of this new method coming back to streamed content, there is no way to change ATC callnames anymore. - added new models to the pack. Now total of 32 models and some of them has 2-3 variants, so close of 40 diffrent liveries included. See Quick_step_tutorial_for_GAmod2024.txt - Currently in SU4 beta, there is crucial bug with injected flights straight to air. They are not moving, thery are just with status "zombie" and stays still on the air. So with su4 beta, you cant use special traffic because those are all flights that are injected straight to air. - Aircrafts doesent often land because there is bug called "landing_state doesent activate". In some cases VFR flights are landing, but mostly not.

There is no trafficaircraft.bgl anymore is su3 beta. You have to disable AI-traffic in Content.xml with this tool: Corsten“s one-click content disabler (content.xml) for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS or the script wich is provides with the zip. Do not use the UI-tool inside of the zip, it has serious bug and it has been updated for the app in flightsim.to. The fps tank could be this bug: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/ai-aircrafts-trying-to-park-to-same-spot-kills-performance-su2-bug/713827/14 Try another region with GAmod: first ultra and then LOW. Try without special traffic also and use littlenavmap to see how much traffic you have.

SU3 has way better ground AI traffic, so there is benefits allready with SU3 beta. Changelog 2.7.2025 KNOWN BUGS There is still crucial parking bug affected to GAmod in SU3 beta ( https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/ai-aircrafts-trying-to-park-to-same-spot-kills-performance-su2-bug/713827/14 please vote) but this bug can be tackled with traffic density LOW in most of the areas. NEW FEATURES 1) SU3 has new BETTER ai traffic. No more wandering in forest and models keep the taxi paths. Try SU3 beta or wait SU3 to be released. 2) now fully combatible without streaming any content of MSFS AI models. With scripts, you can disable MSFS ai models and AI traffic inside of content.xml. See folder 1_DISABLE_STOCK_TRAFFIC_TOOLS 3) because of that, there is no "generic" from atc anymore. New way to ATC speak is "aircraft model manufactor + model + flight number" -) CESSNA SKYHAWK 2458 or CESSNA CARAVAN 2458. ATC may use in some cases only call signs. MSFS 2024 ATC logic is mystery on this. 4) Lowered overhauls flights to 3 flights / airport (ULTRA) and 1 flight / airport (LOW), because there is just to much traffic in high density area. With LOW setting, there is only one flight in small airfields, to there is way to tackle bug called "aircrafts trying to inject same parking spot" -) no performance loss with LOW. 5) updated latest model LOD files from MSFS2024 via VFS (virtual file system) 6) military traffic is now separated from basic models and traffic, because MSFS2024 new fallback system will use military models also with GA traffic. So if you want use military traffic, you need to only enable GAmod2024-MilitaryModels and GAmod2024-MilitaryTraffic. When using only GA traffic, enable only GAmod2024-Models and GAmod2024-Traffic. Special traffic is also separate pack and renamed to be first in priority order before GAmodels. So you can enable both models and both traffic folders. 7) AIflow isnt anymore fully combatible. It wont keep the culling limit and MSFS tries to inject more aircraft after culling. So it would be for example 50 aircrafts in a second but after 3 seconds 70-80 and it culls it to 50 after 5 seconds with serious stutter. So thats why total flight numbers are lowered in total. Start flight with ULTRA and put it to LOW after 30sec. You should have traffic amount that doesent kill your FPS and also with good amount of diffrent models. š Random models worldwide! I decided to mix up the GAmod and there is now totally random models in airports so there is no certain models to find, like there was earlier C152 in every aiport. 9) Hot balloons, helicopters and gliders do now touch and go manouvers in airports. They dont land, just starts climbing before touch down. This way there is special traffic also near airports.

How to view the config files of default planes in MSFS 2024
Yes, im reading this past hour but i dont get it. Im not regular developer. But i only want to change Asobo AI models atc_type to match real world manufactors. Now that are in all of them "$$:Generic" and ATC in game is calling them Generic. If i just change "$$:Generic" to CESSNA in aircraft.cfg in Commom/confic folder, it wont affect in game. They still beein called as generic. Please help.
