How do you get around this when they have automatically added them via streaming with no way to turn them off?

But why is this? Because capacity is limited. It feels like it's a first come first served basis. I could hardly get on last week but had a more stable experience over the weekend in patches. Now back in the working week im having issues again. Its not fit for purpose period.

I have been paying attention thanks but it doesn't help me now does it? AT the moment I have multiple airports in one spot.

Is this a joke? streaming is terrible. Both poor on pc and Xbox. And now they are force streaming all your addons with no way to turn them ofd which is causing conflicts in the sim with multiple airports and clashing apps. it’s an utter joke.

I’ve just seen they’ve added even more to my library in 24. Problem is surely this will conflict? Because so far it’s added two versions of Munich, I’ve got Bijans seasons activated, 42s effects…the list goes on. That surely is all gonna clash with the sim???

That trailer was a con. You just cant replicate that look and feel. Tried everything on ultra, its just not up to snuff.

I don't think it even has anything to do with that either, I think they want you to buy a subscription model, and doing it this way keeps the control.

I think this game will be dead in a few months if its not up to snuff in the next few weeks.

So some of my scenery has turned up in the uninstalled section of fa 2024 on Xbox but I have no way of installing it? Doesn’t seem obvious when I select the content.

Actually I don't think this is finished. Just been at Sedona (not the most complex of airports). Massive pop in issues, some planes were blocks, some had wheels missing. Trees were popping up a few feet away. The tech needs refining. Im on a really strong connection.

So after several hours of stable play my first impressions are this. It’s not a radical improvement on 2020. Yes you can get out of your plane which for bush flights will be great but I found the environment on the ground to not look as lush or as detailed as originally shown. Grass is patchy, the road next to the strip didn’t look like asphalt etc. The graphics are nice and the detail seems better and the general map more accurate.its nice to see landmarks already in the sim, for instance I took off from John Lennon Liverpool, and the Runcorn bridge, Mersey gateway and fiddlers ferrry were already in the sim and looking great. I do think it doesn’t look as realistic as what 2020 can at times though - the colours seem exaggerated but maybe that’s just me. The menus feel clunky and designed for Xbox users with you having to switch rather than use cursor. The career is the differentiator here - it seems to be the reason this was made. I only managed a few lessons before the sim started to melt around me. Im not sure with the whole cloud thing. Photogrammetry still looked melted like 2020 on the ground. Although I could walk down my street, the detail wasn’t there. Not sure if live weather was working - seemed to have clear skies constantly. Didn’t see a ship whilst flying by Bootle docks. It was enjoyable but I just have to ask myself was this necessary? 2020 still does things very well. I’ll spend a bit more time in it of course to form a final opinion.

New York is where I’ve hit the skids. Struggling to load that properly.
