  1. Finally, Brazil got the ground texture updates that have been around for years on Bing Maps, but the brightness and saturation don’t seem to have been adjusted right (I’m just talking about MSFS2020)... but the terrain mesh really improved a lot in the area where I usually fly. I think they used way more accurate data than before.
  2. I experienced black screen issues (with sound still running) regardless of the driver version. After more than a year, I concluded that FS 2020 "doesn't like" the clock variations of the graphics card when it enters automatic boost/overclock mode. I completely resolved the issue by fixing the clock using MSI Afterburner, setting it to the maximum nominal value before entering "turbo mode." Since then, I haven't had a single crash.
  3. I used Map Enhancement for a long time, the textures are way better with HLOD on, and more up-to-date (at least in my area), but in the latest updates, the color/brightness/contrast correction feature got locked to the paid version, so I uninstalled it. As a casual gamer, I thought it wasn’t worth paying for, even with the clear improvements.
  4. I'll try to phrase it better since English isn't my native language: The Manual Cache only saves areas with photogrammetry, including ground textures and buildings/objects, since the tiles include all of that. When you try to save regions outside the photogrammetry coverage, the resulting file size is way too small, which means nothing was actually saved. The Rolling Cache (when activated) saves actual satellite textures, both from the Map Enhancement and the default ones from the MS servers in the game. If you usually switch between them, it's a good idea to clear the Rolling Cache every time you change providers; otherwise, the scenery can get pretty weird, mixing up tiles.
  5. When you try to save areas without photogrammetry, the resulting file size in the Manual Cache is really small, which means no textures were actually saved.
  6. As far as I know and have tested, the Manual Cache only saves areas with photogrammetry, while scenarios that just involve ground textures are saved in the Rolling Cache (if it's turned on).
