  1. What does “Cruise LOD Updates” do and should I have it on?
  2. Basically, if you have a high end system that can do 60+ fps in the sim, you are screwed with the gsx stutters. according to Umberto, it’s not a “GSX Issue”.
  3. I’m the user that posted on the forum about the hyperthreading off. That wasn’t actually what fixed it for me when doing some more test. I had realized that what I had also done differently was increase the render scale in the msfs graphics settings. This is exactly what fixed the stuttering. Start increasing that render scale slider until you see the gsx pushback smooth out. The downside is that it will reduce your fps.
  4. The fix to this is to increase render scale in the msfs settings. But it will cost more fps. It sucks. Especially if you don’t have frame gen. once I moved my render scale slider to 120, my GSX pushback was smooth. According to Umberto, this is an Asobo/simconnect issue.
  5. This issue occurs more on systems that are able to push more fps in the sim. So basically, GSX is only good for weak systems that can keep the sim capped around 30-40 fps.
  6. Man I don’t know if you could make it happen but I figured I asked anyways. Would you be able to somehow fix the issue of the DX12 ground broken tiles we get? I’ve heard this issue has something to do with memory and since you know more about this stuff than I do I figured asking. This would be awesome if you can fix it. @Reset XPDR
  7. @Reset XPDR Sir, you are a genius and a gift to us from the heavens. Thank you so much for making and continuing this awesome program. It's made flying 100% smooth for me.
  8. Nahhh, I just came from a 5800X3D and upgraded to 13900K and Z790 board. The 13900K beats the 5800X3D hands down. Now, this is on 4K. I have never used 1080P on MSFS or any of my other games. Maybe in 1080p the 5800X3D does better, but once you throw in 4K in there, 13900K is king. I’m talking about 10 more frames in average and defined a lot smoother fps than 5800X3D. All this benchmarks showing 1080P has it’s purpose, but let’s be real, unless you are a pro gamer, who in the world buys a high end CPU to game at 1080P. Especially on MSFS.
