  1. Is it possible or will it be possible to use the Saitek Pro Yoke Modes within ChasePlane? I would like to assign a number of buttons/switches on both the yoke and quadrant in Mode 1 to Chaseplane and assign other Sim functions to the same buttons/switches in Modes 2 & 3
  2. I am trying to convert an actual C-130 yoke to be used for flight controls on our flight simulator. I have no prior experience with this type of project and was wondering if I could obtain some advice on hardware and control setup. And/or, are there detailed guides available to conduct this type of modification? An example is the use of potentiometers to create the roll, and pitch inputs by movement of the flight yoke and stick. It is a flight control that pivots at a single point near the floor having a throttle arc, while the yoke rotates on a perpendicular axis to the pilot torso at the top of the control stick. I have read some sites recommend using 100k ohm rotary potentiometers with a "linear taper". Does this sound reasonable? Also, how would I ultimately translate the mechanical input into a digital single that can be read using a USB plugin? Any help and guidance on this is much appreciated. Please feel free to ask any questions.
  3. I need a little help from a few "upper atmosphere" experts. Here is a synopsis of my problem. This just started yesterday, and I havereached the limits of my troubleshooting abilities. After purchasing KFLL and GSX from FSDreamTeam, I set up a short circuit from KFLL to KMIA to practice varying flight scenarios in arepeatable manner. When I configured the airplane exactly as I needed, I saved the panel state using the FMC, as I have done ondozens of other occasions. When I pressed TOGA, everything looked good until I was airborne when the plane veered hard to the right. It was unrecoverable. Ireloaded the flight and saw the problem. The yoke was hard over right and would not move left. It still had elevator functionality, but no aileron control. I reloaded a couple ofother panel states and had no problem. I reconfigured the airplane from scratch, still had the same problem from the newly saved panelstate. I renamed the panel state. No help. I then manually deleted all the panel states that I had loaded in the past from FSX\PMDG\PANEL STATE. I reloaded a newly configurated panel state. No Joy. This problem is baffling me. It's become one of those quirksthat will hound me until it is resolved. When I loaded the reverse flight (KMIA KFLL), I had no problems.Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
  4. Hi guys, I have recently bought a Satiek Pro Yoke System, with the Throttle Quadrant for use with my FSX setup. I downloaded a profile from Satiek's web site for FSX and was wondering if anyone has managed to reprogram the X & Y levers? The Z is fine for the throtle and reverse thrust, but the X & Y don't seem to do anything in FSX. I was wanting to program one (X) for elevator trim up and down and the other (Y) for rudder left and right. Has anyone done this or could anyone help me achieve this as I am quite confused about the profile editor from Satiek. Thanks in advance.
  5. Just came cross this product, anyone with comments experience on the manufacturer its products and specially the Yoke ??? Tnx in advance Yair
  6. I purchased the Aerosoft CRJ Package. The 500,700,800 and 900. For some reason none of the dials on the quadrant change the settings in the plane. I have to use the mouse to set ALT, VS, HDG, ALS, Course, etc. I can only make these settings "on The Screen". The Speed Brakes, Throttles, and Flaps work on the Quad, just the dials are not seeing the CRJ. On my honeycomb yoke I also noticed the Light switches don't operate the switches in the plane, I can only move them on the screen. I'm thinking this is an Aerosoft/Honeycomb problem because I just now tried switching the aircraft to the Cessna Citation and the QUAD dials work as they should. I notice when I select the CRJ the Altitude window is always showing 10000' before I even change the ALT. Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions? Thanks Walt
  7. Hi all, I have the Saitek Pro Flight Cessna Yoke, and the rocker switch below the Hat Switch is really loose since I've used the Yoke for a long time. However, when I try to assign that switch to a command in FSX's settings, it responds, so the actual control isn't damaged. With that being said, all I would need would be a replacement switch or a way to repair the loose one. I checked Saitek's site and didn't find anything, so I thought this forum would be the next step. The switch in question is labeled "Button 12," and "Button 13," in FSX's settings. Please assist! Kevin Davis
  8. As you can see in the video (it's only 44 seconds long), something is seriously wrong with the elevator controls. This worked great until this week. Had it since May 2017. I've done the calibration routine using the CH Control Manager, but this elevator issue now happens in both FSX and FSW. Push forward on the yoke, release the yoke, but the elevator doesn't return to 0. It's like he springs are sticking only when pushing the yoke forward and releasing it, which isn't fixable via software. Any suggestions on what to do to fix this? Can't find anything about fixing this using Google-Fu other than use software x, calibrate it using product umpty squat, or some combination of those two, which doesn't solve the issue.
