  1. Tried the second optical drive and no joy with reinstalling FS9. I just cannot figure out why it won't install. I have run CCleaner to ensure the registry is clean and removed all reminants of my previous installation. I rebooted after cleaning the registry, and hecked the CD's both the old ones and the newer ones, and nothing. I will google it though and maybe there will be a solution out there. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
  2. I use the LDS767 with my FDS CDU and CPFlight MCP & EFIS with no problems. I can do my auto landings flawlessly and the hardware integrates well, which may not the case with some of the newer aircraft!
  3. Thanks TPerson for you advice, sounds logic enough as I have 2 optical drives in my PC. The one I done my reinstall with is an NEC Drive. Only thing is it doesn't explain why my already installed FS9 stopped working in the first place! I will try your solution tonight and report back as it may help others with the same problem.
  4. Hey guys, I am having the exact same problem installing FS9 on my Windows 7 64bit. I already had it installed on a second HD and have run it without problems. I always install it as I run modules like FSNavigator whivh are not available for FSX. Two nights ago I went to run it and it just kept crashing to the desktop after the splash screen went off. I thought it must have been corrupt so proceeded to reinstall it. That's when the problems started, like some people here at 77% or so it started hanging while installing certain area cab files. I went out to PC World and bought a new copy for £13 as I thought my discs are old and perhaps scratched. The exact same thing when it reached 77% or so. I tried installing it on my SSD with the same issue. I am now wondering if a recent update of Windows 7 has caused the problem?
  5. Hey Jahman, thanks for your advice. I installed SPAD and it worked with the hardware. I went into FSUIPC and changed the levers settings and all is working now. I have the X as the elevator trim, and the Y lever as the rudder. They a a bit sensitive but I just had a quick look and need to go in and adjust what I can to dampen the sensitivities. Thanks again for your advice.
  6. I didn't know about the SPAD drivers, I'll give it a go. Should I remove all the Saitek drivers including the profiler?
  7. It's 40C and the lobby air con is broke, can't hide from the sun. Turkey is so hot!

  8. Hi guys, I have recently bought a Satiek Pro Yoke System, with the Throttle Quadrant for use with my FSX setup. I downloaded a profile from Satiek's web site for FSX and was wondering if anyone has managed to reprogram the X & Y levers? The Z is fine for the throtle and reverse thrust, but the X & Y don't seem to do anything in FSX. I was wanting to program one (X) for elevator trim up and down and the other (Y) for rudder left and right. Has anyone done this or could anyone help me achieve this as I am quite confused about the profile editor from Satiek. Thanks in advance.
  9. Just wanted to share this one with you. I have installed a program called Air Display on my iPDA then the corresponding PC version and I am now able to window my LevelD 767 FMC and drag and reposition it on my iPAD screen. It has two-way communication so I am able to type in a flight plan and it will be as if there was a real hardware version of the FMC connected to my computer. Here is a photo and I will make a video and post it if anyone is interested.
  10. Hi Guys,I am also having the same misalignment with the runway problem. It seems to be a 3 degree misalignment. I am using MSFS 2004 with PMDG 737NG and CPFlight MCP & EFIS. I would appreciate and help with this as it is ruining my flight sim experience.ThanksHere are another few screenshots. Sorry about the dimensions but I am running my FS over 3 monitors.http://www.atari-ste...mdgerror/02.pnghttp://www.atari-ste...mdgerror/03.pnghttp://www.atari-ste...pmdgerror/PFD01.png
