Hi all, I'm still very new to simming and am absolutely loving it. Being a real world Commercial Pilot is great but being able to do everything so realistic from my bedroom is also great! Now I'm currently running my FSX SE off of a laptop which is just not doing the job anymore with all the add-ons I've bought so I'm looking to build my first PC. After careful research I've come up with a list of components that I think would suit the job and as I'm not the smartest cookie in the jar when it comes to PC components I thought I'd give you guys a list to check over and see whether you can give me tips where I could save money on components or have alternative components that are just as good and for around the same price. All information will be taken on board and I greatly appreciate all your opinions! My current list of parts I was thinking to buy is as follows: - Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler - Asus Z170-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard - G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory - Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive - Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 8GB G1 Gaming Video Card - EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply - Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer - Corsair Air Series SP120 High Performance Edition (2-Pack) 62.7 CFM 120mm Fans Still undecided: - Monitor x 2 - ATX Case - Operating System ANY HELP/TIPS/INFORMATION/OPINIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. Thank you all in advance! Jordan
EDIT: Still also undecided on what kind of Joy Stick! I currently have a logitech extreme 3D but looking to get a new one and some rudder pedals!
