The closest airport is Alicante (LEAL) at the south of Benidorm and located at the Costa Blanca, about halfway from north to south at the eastcoast of Spain and a very popular holiday destination for us northern Europeans. Take-off from LEAL in a DC3 Overfly the City of Alicante, a bit north of the Airport Approaching my holiday destination -> Benidorm Some shots of Benidorm via a low and slow flight in a C152 Firstcoming holiday stay is from end Sep to begin Oct and temperature is a pleasant +25°C when the sun shines bright. At home about 2000Km north probably around 10°C. I'm looking forward to enjoy.

Hi everyone, I'm just wondering if anyone can make any sense of the LEPA charts for me. I have them right here but I'm unsure what the capture altitude for the glideslope is on runway 06L? I've looked at the charts but it doesn't seem very obvious from my end? Any advice? Thanks! -YorkiesWorld

The Coastal regio of Cataluna in Spain between the French/Spanish border and Spain's 2nd largest city Barcelona, is Costa Brava and a touristic well known area visited ofted by us, Northern Europeans for its lovely climate. 3 shots of Barcelona city after airborned B787 form the airport LEBL: Bonus: ATR72-600 at Girona Airport ECGR and is the best connection via air to the Costa Brava Coastal Communities:

Passed the French/Spanish border in a Transall-C160 overflying the coastal area with San Sebastian and arriving the Bilbao area for landing at the Airport LEBB. From there a scenic returnflight in a Diamond DA62 over the City of Bilbao and pass the iconic Guggenheim Museum with irrigular metal shaped structures. I choose this destination because Bilbao was ths year's start on July 1st of the famous Tour de France bicycle competition and ends at July the 23th in Paris.

A quick zip over to the north side of Majorca in Aerosoft's new flying school sim, Ready For Take Off, to check out the photo terrain. Below you can see Soller and Puerto de Soller, which is very nice in real life, especially if you like seafood lol and there's a very old cool train you can get from the main town of Soller, which is up the hill (get the tram, it's very steep if you walk); the train goes through the lemon and orange groves in the mountains and finishes up in Palma. This is the Baron you get in the sim, the other aeroplane being an A320. You have to do a few mandatory basic 'flying lessons' before the sim will let you fly off by yourself wherever you like, it's a pretty basic flight sim, but it gets very good frame rates:
