December 30, 201510 yr I'm having a problem with the standby nav/comm frequencies. Instead of ending in "0", the standby frequency ends in "1" and is unusable for tuning, switching to primary, etc. I'm using FSX Acceleration with Windows 10. Any help appreciated. Reggie 270@22 from KNPA
December 31, 201510 yr I've had this happen before during some gauge programming where I had fouled up and ended up in a situation like yours. IIRC what I did was to save the flight then - - Open the previous saved .FLT file (\My Documents\Flight Simulator X Files) with a plain text editor (notepad etc..) - Go down about 2/3 rds the way and find the [Avionics.0] section - Replaced the fouled entries with valid frequencies (Comms have 3 digits after decimal point, Navs have 2) - Save the file - Reload the flight in FSX, should be fixed. FSX can stay open during the procedure. Most avionics use the increase/decrease commands where it inc/dec at a fixed value. Once the freq is fouled it stays fouled. Good luck.
