I have been enjoying quite a lot the new Fly2 - patched to 240, and the many add-ons available.Last week I bought the PMDG 757, and I find it simply great!!!Now, if we give a llok at what is hapening with Fly2 at the Fly! foruns, we notice that many people is starting to pay attention to this great sim.I myself simply quited using MSFS, and suffering from it's basic/stupid limitations, and decided to "invest" a lot on Fly2.PMDG, please reconsider your former decision of stoping Fly add-on developmt. ... I strongly believe there is a new market waiting for you ;-)

"I myself simply quited using MSFS, and suffering from it's basic/stupid limitations" There are goods points to either simulator Jcomm, but to put one down like this is a bit out of place don't you think my friend? There are limitations for any simulator including 100 million FAA approved ones but what ties all these together is a love for aviation and the pure joy of being able to simulate such complex aircraft upon one's home computer. Happy flights in your new 757!Best Wishes,Randy J. [email protected]" A little learning is a dangerous thing"AMD XP2100 |MUNCHKIN512 DDR RAM |ECS[/b ]K7S5A MB |[b]GF364 MEG |WIN XP PRO

Agree !!!!If we want to talk about limitations, I can go on for days------- regarding FLY/FLYII.........................but I won't. I need to get to work, and don't have the time!! :)L.Adamson

Right Larry! The issue is from my point of view....what YOU like or not.I've been an avid simmer since FS3 and have countless hours logged. So what you like/dislike can't be transferred to other people.I use a lot of sims without forcing my meanings to other. It's no doubt that Fly2 and fs2002 are great sims.I have both and uses both all the time. Both sims suffers from limitations and both sims have their advantages. You can get high quality addons for both of them, and PMDG delivers the best heavies for Fly2.Johnny"I'LL BE BACK"[div align=center]http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/josve/zone.jpg ][/div

>Now, if we give a llok at what is hapening with Fly2 at the >Fly! foruns, we notice that many people is starting to pay >attention to this great sim. I think you are simply misreading the forum. The same roughly constant number of people has been "paying attention" to FLY for the last year or so, the same can be said about X-plane, ProPilot or Flight Unlimited. Michael J.

You might be a little wrong here Michael.I've seen a lot new "faces" around lately.I'm also getting quite some more E-mails from new Fly2 users.Johnny"I'LL BE BACK"[div align=center]http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/josve/zone.jpg ][/div

>I've seen a lot new >"faces" around lately. Are there perhaps thousands others behind those "faces" to be statistically meaningful and cause noticable change in market forces ? I don't think so but I let you keep your own opinion. ;-)Michael J.

No I'm not saying that Michael.I just say I have noticed a lot of new faces in the Fly forum, and in the Norwegian forums.Thats all I said....We all know that Fly2 can compete with Fs2002 when it comes down to the amount of users.Thats a fact, but I'm anyway glad that fly2 are getting more users every day :)Johnny"I'LL BE BACK"[div align=center]http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/josve/zone.jpg ][/div

Gents-I am locking this thread. I think all of you know my long standing distaste for those that play "good sim/bad sim."Both simulators are great platforms for what they do- and both have strenghts and weaknesses. End of discussion. ;-)Robert S. RandazzoPrecision Manuals Development Group http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/coolcap.gifwww.precisionmanuals.com
