February 10, 200323 yr Greetings,http://zone.msn.com/flightsim/FS02SpecialFS9.asp Microsoft is today announcing their new FlightSimulator. On their site they say it will be released around summertime 2003.Will the PMDG 737NG work for Microsoft Flight Simulator: A Century of Flight aswell?
February 11, 200323 yr Commercial Member Frank-Of course! One of the things that we have carefully considered in the product's development has been forward compatibility with FS2K4... Although we won't know for certain the 100% compatibility until we too get our hands on the new version- I can assure you without concern that the airplane will be fixed to work with FS2k4 immediately should we find any inconsistencies....There are a few things with FS2K4 that FS2K2 doesn't offer- so we are already planning for those..... ;-) (no- I'm not at liberty to tell you!)So, in short- I wouldn't be too concerned. The NG will be out before 2K4, and if we find some problems, we fix them! Robert S. February 11, 200323 yr No reason to worry. Microsoft stated that planes designed for FS2000 (and later) will work in the upcoming F9.Michael J. Michael J.
February 12, 200323 yr Clouds will be real objects in FS2K4, so I think good weather radars should appear on our ND ;)
