February 17, 200323 yr hey,I dont want to stress you guys, but could you give us some new screenshots showing the overhead panel and FMC or the other engine display variantes??? would be really nice. greetings from TXLPatrick
February 19, 200323 yr Commercial Member Patrick-Not until we are ready to show them to you! ;-)We are assembling the major components of the airplane right now. THere are a few visual anomalies that remain, and although we know these are normal to product development- we'd prefer that you not see the airplane in that condition.... While many of you loyal customers know the difference between an "in development" shot and a finished product shot- we don't want to spend a week explaining that to everyone else! ;-)You should see the cockpit and external model very shortly... We are getting REALLY close to showing!Robert S. RandazzoPrecision Manuals Development Group http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/coolcap.gifwww.precisionmanuals.com Robert S. February 21, 200323 yr Commercial Member Patrick-Currently on our development versions we have not seen much of a FPS hit. Lefteris has spent a massive amount of time investment in chasing FPS optimization, and we have rewritten wholesale portions of code to make them more FPS friendly. The external visual model has nearly no impact on my machine (1.7Ghz) and the Virtual Cockpit is yet to be tested. My heart goes out to the poor guys at WILCO. I know what it is like to be on the receiving end of the complaints....That is, in part, why we are working so hard to ensure this airplane is FPS friendly...Robert S.
