Will your FMC be able to recognize FSNav generated FP's?

Eric-not in the first release. If this is requested frequently by our customers, we might look into it for future versions, so let us know that you NEED it (not only that you WANT it ;-) ).

Lefteris,Well, I sure NEED it. I use FSNav to set up my routes all the time. I then usually export the route to my various folders for the FMC's of various aircraft such as PSS and PIC and then to the Squawkbox folder. I was thinking that I would be able to also export the FP right into the appropriate folder for your 737. Many of us use flightplaning tools like FSNav and soon to be released FSBuild 2.0. This would be of great help if you all could make it so we can use these FP building programs. FSBuild 2.0 besides building the route will take into account real world winds aloft forecasts for fuel planning purposes. It would help to be able to export the plan into the FMC of your 737. Thanks

Eric-I'll keep it in mind then. No promises, though. As for FSBuild, Ernie Alston usually goes out of his way to make his stuff compatible with PMDG's, so I am sure he'll listen to your request with a sympathetic ear! Just ask him nicely, and I am sure you'll get it... ;-)

I would prefer if the time is spent in making the product more realistic instead of making it user convenient...Alex

Lefteris, Ernie and I really need copies of the 737NG to test FSB2 out with your FMC :) :) :)FSB2 is Gold now, and should be available this weekend. I've had almost 100 builds (100 happens to be the gold build) and it is a really incredible planner.(Ask your questions here!)Tim

Tim-I am sure Anthony is in touch with Ernie. If he's not, let me know by email ([email protected]) and I'll see what we can do. But Anthony has told me they're talking about it ;-).

They are :) The 737NG will be added after release to FSB2. Hopefully aircraft files and the FMC format.Using ActiveWX, the planner factors in winds aloft- Globally.Tim
