July 1, 200322 yr Can you give all the detail for you flight please? From where to where. Alt you are at when trying to capture this particular ILS? Did you try a full auto land? Do you know what you need to turn on the AP to capture the ILS?[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smith[/h5][h6]The Next Great one? July 2, 200322 yr Author Thanks for your help Randy and Anthony...Much appreciated...But I know how to capture an ILS...the problem didn't arise since this one and only flight...it's from the beginning!!MY RADIOS ARE DEAD...No matter where I go, or what freq I tune in radio stack, VOR1 or VOR2...Can't get a needle to move on ND or Stby RMI since day 1!!!Non-ILS capture is just a result of this...:( Maybe a problem this the install...Fritz Best regards, Fritz ESSONO

July 2, 200322 yr Try this- Rename the "fs2002.cfg" file, example "fs2002old.cfg"- Launch the fs2002, a new file will be created.- setup very quickly your video, etc, etc in fs2002 (we are just testing)- choose the PMDG 737NG- select a valid VOR in the nav radios and activate it- on the EFIS select the VOR switch (VOR1 and / or VOR2)- see if the selected VOR appears on the ND, indicating DME etc.Hope this help.

Charly Diaz Azcue[br /] BAW062 [br /] HC270CH Q8
[/p][/p]
July 2, 200322 yr AHA ... dawn over my concrete old head,Wanting a cold and dark cockpit, as suggested in a previous post, I started with the default cessna, turned off the avionics and battery ... SO hmmm .. I did my innagural flight from KSAN to KLAX ... simple flight plan SXC, SLI, PDZ, 25R. Cound not intercept the localizer, got no glideslope or loc indications ... could set the radios, but they did not work ... SO ... boy o boy .. so much to think about.Really wonderful job with this A/C ... honestly ... when I first couldn't do my approach setup, I took off the AP and A/T and flew manually ... very very nice to fly ... heavy like I guess it should feel. AND I actually made a visual approach without a DME indicator ... something for me!!!! I suggest you all (when you get a breather that is) might want to start a FAQ and anchor it at the top. You might want to add an item saying that a cold and dark start needs the avionics switch from the previous aircraft to be LEFT ON.Tested with cessna avionics on first ... works fine.THANK YOU ALL for this neat software.
