July 3, 200322 yr Wait a minute. You bought it with a credit card RIGHT??? Did any actual CASH change hands??? NO. Your credit card supplier gives you a 21 day GRACE period doesn't it??? Looks to me like you're eleven (11) days ahead of PMDG. Just a thought.
July 3, 200322 yr I completely agree. Rob & PMDG - this is a wonderful add-on!!! Great job as usual!Regards,Bob Lyddy
July 4, 200322 yr >Greetings Hugo!>>Of course copyrights and financial interests need to be>protected, no doubt about that. But it should be made somewhat>easier on the honest customers like you and me (grin)! It's>too crazy for words that following the instructions in the>download, and in the pop-ups that appear every time you start>up the 737, leads you NOWHERE. >>It should not be necessary to read threads on a forum, in>order to finally figure out what to do in order to permanently>enjoy a purchase. And believe me: enjoy it I do! But after>I've paid I want the SUPPLIER to take care of protecting his>interest, instead of him expecting ME to jump through loops.>>Geez, if LAGO can do it (safeguard their interests) without>unduly bothering the customers, why can't PMDG? And why did>they, in initial response to my and others peoples questions,>give out wrong and useless information? We had to prod them in>order to finally figure it out!>>Be well!>>Jaap Verduijn. From I started the prosess of buying this A/C, it took me right about 10-15minutes before I was in the skies and flying the 737.. Then I wrote down the code and sent the two numbers to PMDG, and received the permanent reg nr within two hours.. :) NO problems at all to get into the skies with my new A/C :D And you say that Lago have protected their interests and products? They have 1 lousy serial on their registration, and if you have a search on the web, you can surely find serials for just about every Lago release... So far, you can't find a single PMDG crack or nothing.. I have seen the final install file on a p2p network, but that just gives the pirates a 10day apetizer :D However, I do not fully agree and support this kind of registration of a commercial product.. I like to have full control over everything on my computer( or have the illusion that I have control ;) ) and this kind of registration takes away that feeling.. I feel that its a small step closer to the terrible "Palladium" consept.. I also like to have the freedom to install my software after a foramt without the need of getting a new registration number from the developer (imagine if everybody had their registration like that! Would take months to do a simple format and get everything up and running again! ) I also like the freedom to install it onseveral PC's, such as a laptop.. And I would imagine that a software protection like this isn't cheap, so in the end, its the customer who has to pay for that high tech portection thing that will be cracked some day.. It kinda throw the paying customers money out the window.. I'll bet that $10 of the price, if not more is for that protection...In the end.. Even how I feel about that protection system, I feel that I have spent my money on something fantastic. I enjoy this 737 alot, and have been waiting since november 2002 for the release.. :D Thanks for a superb product! I'm sure that the small issues will be sorted ASAP, making this A/C even more fantastic! Even the best and most expensive software has a bug... All software releases requires aleast one patch...
