July 3, 200322 yr This is really, really minor, but is there a clock anywhere on the 2D panel? We Virtual Airline Captains need to know our block times and it's a real pain to go to the main FS Menu since it pauses the sim....Steve
July 3, 200322 yr Exact!!!I really do miss those little functions : E.T., chrono...Fritz Best regards, Fritz ESSONO
July 3, 200322 yr you can copy from the PSS777 panel the clock gauge and the clock button. then you have what you need in all views X-Plane 11.3x / DCS 2.5.4 / P3Dv4.5 / Aerofly FS 2 Win10-x64 | ASUS Z270E | Intel i7-7700K @4.5GHz | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB DDR4 | 6TB SSD Samsung 850 Pro | ASUS GTX 1080 ROG STRIX 8GB DDR5X | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Combat Pedals | Oculus Rift CV1
July 3, 200322 yr The clock is very important for me too. You use it for ET and all the above. Not to mention when flying the holds manually. You can't always rely on the FMC. A slight disapointment in an overall greak product.Ian
July 3, 200322 yr I beleive I read on this forum that there is no chronometer in the REAL plane...Just fyi...
July 3, 200322 yr I cannot find a chronometer in the manual. Thus, my best conjecture is, they are not equipped with it if its not in the POH....Good Day.http://www.clearedasfiled.com/images/simpics/cirrus.jpgwww.flightfactory-simulations.comHomepage at www.clearedasfiled.com!
July 3, 200322 yr I just checked out 5 or 6 600/700/bbj cockpit photos in Airliners.net. and indeed there is a chrono to the left of the pilots PFD and right of the co-pilots ND.As mentioned in a reply above, on one of the screen views, can't honestly recall at this minute, there is a chrono ... but with no functions except 1x, 2x ... All you have to do is pick your favorite chrono and modify the panel.cfg to include it. I like the chrono in the dornier panel ... very nice, but you can simply copy and paste the gauge name (not numbers) over the pmdg chrono name ... (remember to backup your panel.cfg. I recommend copying the line and pasting it in, then commenting out the line using the "//", then modifying the copied line. For old folks like me, it is a reminder of what I did .. hahaha)As far as panel design goes, if you look at the airliner.net photos, you will see that the chrono takes up a relatively IMMENSE amount of real estate on the panel ... so I think it was a GOOD design decision to put a chrono on a separate view ... maybe in a future release, the "real" NG chrono could be added ... or perhaps the chrono is an "OPTION" in which case ... anyone you have will do.Like most of you, I simply HAVE to have a good timer ..!!!Good Luck and
