July 4, 200322 yr Captains,Transavia, Aloha Airlines, easyJet and Air Berlin are now available on the main downloads page. Also, you can now download a SIDSTAR database for the FMC. After downloading the file, just unzip all files into your FS2002/PMDG/SIDSTARS folder. Thanks to our beta tester TJ for helping with this!http://www.precisionmanuals.com
July 4, 200322 yr Any chance of setting up some links for some preview shots of the -700 liveries before download (like the -600 liveries)?:) Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
July 4, 200322 yr Marc,I found there's a small problem with the aircraft.cfg entries for the Easyjet livery. All 3 versions have the same title, which causes Easyjet not to show in the aircraft selection menu. Edting the title to be unique solves the problem. (eg. title=B737-73V Easyjet - airstairs, title=B737-73V Easyjet - airstairs & VC, title=B737-73V Easyjet - airstairs & VC & cabin).Paul
July 5, 200322 yr Commercial Member Just a warning to anyone who has already made some custom SID/STAR procedures on their own - these will overwrite yours - back them up before trying these! Are these imported from 767PIC files? I noticed that there aren't any actual psuedo waypoints in the files, it's all done using fixes to simulate it, the way we used to do with PIC. Then again, I really don't know how you could import stuff like that since it has to be interpreted off the chart... I'm sure these will be cool until we can get a database of custom procedures with the actual conditional waypoints etc - I already did KPHX and KTUS (my two home fields ;) ) last night and I'll be working on KLAX, KDEN, and a few others later tonight. If anyone would like my custom KPHX file just email me - [email protected] Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
July 5, 200322 yr When can we expect the rest of the Liv's for the 700's? It is the weekend and I would like to see a few like..WESTJET AIRLINESALASKA AIRLINESCONTINENTAL AIRLINES VIRGIN BLUE I know you said soon for the 700's Livs, but those few you have were not what I was expecting...
July 5, 200322 yr is it possible that the SID and STARS a little bit outdated. The SIDS for EDDT and LEIB definitely :-hah read you... Migh
July 5, 200322 yr These procedures are straight from 767 PIC, so that is why they are a bit old and without pseudo waypoints :)
July 5, 200322 yr Hi Marc,Thanks! BTW, what font was used on the EasyJet livery? I'm asking, because the word 'favourite' is spelt the American way, and I thought I might add the missing 'u' :).Cheers,Gosta.http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg

July 5, 200322 yr Guys,My first post here, and I'm sorry to say that I'm getting a bit tired now of the hours I've had to spend getting this product working right.I've just loaded my first SID from the new database into the FMC, a NOKIN1S from 06L out of EGCC. Since I'm climbing out on a 055 track, the first turning waypoint should be north-east of the field, but no, it appears incorrectly on the ND as south-west. Then there's a leg to a waypoint called MCT06 that is 3233nm long but is supposed to be 6nm from MCT VOR!Why is this wrong -- the 767PIC data or the converter program? Either way the promise of a functioning FMC with this product implies a working SID/STAR database.Looking forward to seeing this all resolved one day, in the meantime I'll be using raw data which is more fun anyway ;-)Neil Cheatle.
July 5, 200322 yr Neil, I'm experiencing the same problem with other SIDs too.(try DEENA1FS from LLBG for example, and there are many more)I think that the problem is that there are navaids used in those SIDs which are not defined for that SID. consequently, the FMC uses a navaid by the same name, in your case, located some 3000 miles away. Please PMDG folks, correct me if I'm wrong.Thanx//Mike
July 5, 200322 yr Hi AllI'm going to place my first post here as well and echo the thought of the hours getting this thing to work and now to download the sid/stars and find them all out of date or sending you 3000 miles out of the way!I've have wierd things happen ever since downloading and adding them and it is yet another letdown from PMDG in my opion after the fiasco with the downloading and aircraft setup that was not up to standard as well as sub standard beta testing leading to many fault's getting through the system that they then can manage to put for download sids/stars on there site that don't work as they should. This having been said I'll still fly the aircraft as it is great, but just hope that they get all the bugs sorted out sooner rather than later and PROPERLY test out everything beforehand so as not to recive the sort of bad feeling that there is out there at the moment among people that have spent there hard earned cash for the product and only want something that should work as described.Paul Mercer
