Flying YSCH (Coffs Harbour) to YSSY (Sydney)Last 2 Waypoints are BULGA and BOREE, Was attempting to add a STAR into Sydney, Choose BOREE3 just gave me BULGA, BOREE, ??SOMETHING??, SY, RW34R, tried others and got the same result, then clrd the Arrival, and selected 34L and a RIVET8 for testing sake, and FS2002 Locked up.. P.S did the same thing to me, when flying YSCH - YBBN (Brisbane), I have given up on YMHB (Hobart) It just keeps crashing..regards, Sean.

I've had pretty much the same experience 3 or 4 times today. The FMC doesnt seem to like being messed with that much...And before anyone jumps the gun-"messing" meaning deleting waypoints,re-entering them etc...An example would be the LAM.4M from 26L in EGKK.The SID is completely inaccurate so I tried making the neccessary changes, FS2002 crashed at least 3 times before I gave up.Still tho,a bird of this complexity-I'm willing to be patient as I completed a flight tonight, pulled a greaser right on the numbers and it really was a pleasant experience! :)RegardsJohnhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk 650Hours ;)P 2.53 GHZ512 RAMWINXPGFORCE 4 128MB Ti4600http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

This needs to be fixed ASAP.. Because its starting to give me the S**TS..The plane is rendered useless in my opinion unless this is fixed.PMDG anything to say about this issue?regards, Sean

Let me say first off that the aircraft as regards to correct function of stars and sids has no issues, it's the ACTUAL sids and stars, there is a difference ;). Yeah, I've given up as well, the same happened for me when departing LIMC through the FARAK5G.CANNE7U SID, the SID itself looked weird, not like it's supposed to be, but then when I engaged VNAV to fly it, it kept disconnecting, giving UNABLE NEXT ALTITUDE errors, I tried removing the waypoints and FS crashed hard, had to reset it manually. I've made 6 attempts at flying out of LIMC over the past few days and I'm yet to get out of the planning stage, because of the constant FMC-related crashes, it is getting rather frustrating.

yep thats why i am holding off on the patch, no point buying something when you can't use it to its full potential.

I tend to agree, when I first started playing around with the product, everything was great, until I started actually using it, as things stand now, I find the most important aspects bug ridden and have put off flying it "properly" until at least the FMC issues are fixed. Hopefully that will be much sooner than 19th of July, as the more we get "into" the 737, the less enjoyable the experience becomes.

Sean,I did exactly what you describe above. Anthony, The problem itself doesnt really seem to be located to just a few airports, more like messing with the legs paid a tad too much.My main problems tend to be when I want to replace the current waypoint with something further down the line in my route. Which is pretty common when flying online in VATSIM.The usual method would be to highlight the desired waypoint(to bring it onto the scratchpad) and simply overwrite the current waypoint by clicking the corresponding LSK1/RSK1.Something worth looking into.As I said, I'm still pretty happy with this project. I was flying an approach into Paris -Orly. I selected a STAR but didn't want to start from the first waypoint so I started deleting the waypoints I didn't want. When I got to the waypoint I wanted, activated the flight plan and FS just locked up completely!Regards,Alejandro Velasco
