GO!regards,Joerg

There is no doubt : GO AHEAD !!!This is by far the best add-on I have seen to FS2002 - and I have LOADS of add-ons :DIt has bugs - yes - but it is absolutely flyable as it is.Martin

HiWait on the patch.Just the apu/fuel management bugs alone make for some dissapointing and frustrating flights. However it is not without it`s merits and once the patch gets released it should be ok I guess.Ron

GO AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!Who cares if the patch is not out...it will be soon!

>GO AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!>>Who cares if the patch is not out...it will be soon!>>Not saying it will happen (don't know PMDG from personal experience) but I have been burned by manufacturers promising fixes and updates which were in the end never delivered. As such I'm wary reading about a needed update being promised "soon" unless I know the company well enough to trust they'll come through on those promises.Nothing against PMDG in this, call it corporate policy :-)

With PMDG, it would never happen. There are some really great people there, I would be totally amazed and floored if they didn't come through in a business-like solution (not to say that it could never happen, of course).Bruce.

IMHO, I would recommend waiting until the patch is out. I think it will be a smoother experience for you, not to mention you won't have to download a 60+MB download plus a who-knows-how-big patch afterward. Given that the patch is touching so much (including the visual model), I'm guessing it will be massive. It would be simpler all-around for you to download the product after it has been patched.Lee Hetherington (KBED)

Based on their other products, PMDG will come through. They are top notch and very professional. People like to complain, people make a stink about stupid things and make it sound as if the world is coming to an end, but...given the type of CS I have received from PMDG, the patch will be delivered shortly - with the fixes that have been mentioned by them thus far (and that is just for the FMC). So that being said.....get the knot out of your panties and BUY THE PLANE!!!!! :-yellow1

Well, I can't give you a thumbs up or down on the product because I don't own it. But, I have the first ever 757 they created for FLY2K and the 777 for the same simulator. What I can tell you is they offer outstanding customer service, they do listen and care about their customers and are very responsive. You get none of the attitude or, in some cases outright arrogance that you find with some publishers One company in particular, that speaks with a british accent, continues to astonish me. The tone of their communications to their paying customers is so patronizing I have yet to buy one of their products despite the reported excellent quality. So, you can buy with confidence with PMDG. Robert is a stand up person - I have no doubt they will address the issues raised about their airplane. Colin Ware

Go Ahead! I've got 17 hours in this bird so far bugs and all. yes the apu and fuel balance are a bigger problem the longer the flight but it is still enjoyable as is.William

go ahead, my only other reservation, is that Flight Simulator 9 is coming out monday, and I do not know how easy it will be to put it from 2k2 to fs9 w/o a new instillation. If you are waiting for the patch, and plan to by the new fs right when it comes out, i would say wait to buy it until the new FS is out, that way its an easy installiation. I love the system now, the plane is great, and you will be really satisified by the patch. It is definately a buy software, I am fully confident that this will be a great plane, and it seems to have the PIC funcationality, those rumors about this being the PIC replacement, is true. Have a great one, and enjoy the 737NG

WAIT, it is undeniable that simmers are notoriously impatient. Developers take advantage of this by bowing to publishers pressure to release when the product isn't ready. Until the day that we as a consumer segment stop making excuses for incomplete products then everything you buy will need at least one patch. This package does not work as advertised. It is in the process of being fixed. Wait until it is before parting with the $40.

Heo!I would say WAIT for the 800/900 package and decide then.I expected 600/700 to have more functions and options... In this way PMDG disapointed me a little. However, I think all this will be corrected in 800/900 series. But the cons is that it will cost more money again. The current package is OK, but if you wan't really high-quality and realism, wait for the 800/900. That's what I would do if I were you.Regards, Nejc
