August 5, 200322 yr mmmmmm, this is weird. I tried my two different machines and neither load the web, just the single line of text. I have no firewall running on either of my PC's. This is strange.Anyway, my offer still stands.Bryan
August 5, 200322 yr Commercial Member Is there a chance he moved to a new web server and the DNS is just slow in updating for some people's ISPs? I see the site just fine...Ryan Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
August 5, 200322 yr Author Yep,This is weird. The only thing I can think of is that the sight has been configured to allow only those with the right "cookie" to enter; i.e. registered users may enter - but nobody else. Not sure if this is valid - just a hunch. Bryan, if your offer still stands, my e-mail is [email protected],Marc
August 5, 200322 yr Hi,no, there must not be any cookie been placed at your cookie folder of your browser from the last visit which worked in order to get access now.I tried it about two days befor without problems. Now there is no website anymore, just this homepage with this little line of text.As a professional webdesigner I have to tell you that THIS is bad. There should be any sort of more info about what is going on.And never should a website be unsurfable when the client / user is behind a firewall. Who wanna use crap like embeded java or pearl without informing the users befor, ActiveX components and agressive cookies or popup commercials etc. should considdere rename himself but a good webdesigner - he/she aint one! And every website should work no matter is the browser is any of the three most common used and even two years old. No matter of Mac, Windows PC or Linux/Unix based. Regards, Torben Hadler
August 5, 200322 yr Hello,I use Mozilla and have no firewall. All I get is the little message about a new web is born also. I ran a VisualRoute on www.navdata.at Now, shouldn't this domain be going through to Austria? VisualRoute shows it ending at Tampa Bay, Florida. See attachment for VisualRoute and Whois info.If someone wants to contact the UnitedColo abuse by e-mail, [email protected] , or phone, 1-888-993-9339 and see if there is some kind of abuse, go ahead. I have to go to bed shortly.Sincerely,One Tin soldier
