September 9, 200322 yr From my initial perusal I would have to say pretty impressive job Tim. I look forward to trying it out. Also, I should of thanked Fred for his tutorial as well which I already tried out and found quite useful.Tim, I've decided to mortgage the house and go for the one year telephone support option. Thanks
September 9, 200322 yr G'day TimJust downloaded and read your tutorial on the NG and i must say its a ripper.Very well done indeed.Must have taken quite a bt of work and then some.Great job.Might be worth adding just a bit more on the use of the N1 page in day to day ops.It is very rare to see a full thrust/full power non dereated take off in most fan aircraft except at relatively short fields. Many non real pilots get very confused by de-rated take offs(both temp and thrust) and it might be worth popping something in to explain why a reduced thrust(noise abatement/engie life) and why use assumed temp(engine wear) and the use of regulated take off tables.Anyway only a small suggestion. All the best and agin a great tutorial for the less enlightened.Take it easy

I worked on this pretty hard for a few days straight, so I'm going to spend some time being extra nice to my wife for a while to compensate.

I've created a new file called 737NGTutorialNavdata.zip, and it contains the NAVDATA and SIDSTARS directories I used when I created and flew the tutorial. That should fix your problem, and can be used by anyone else who has been unable to get the 0308 navdata.
September 10, 200322 yr Captain Timothy MetzingerThis tutorial is fantastic! Between Freds' tutorial and the one you have written, I actually think I will one day be able to fly this wonderful bird somewhat like it is designed to be flown:)Thanks to both of you for the hard work you have put into these tutorials for no other reason than the love of this hobby!George Stoddard
