I just uploaded the advanced operations tutorial. This guide is designed to take you through a flight in the 737-700 from startup to shutdown, with particular emphasis on using the FMC to fly IFR procedures such as departures and arrivals, and to deal with things like ATC vectors and enroute changes to your clearance. Shipping is extra, you have to rent him a 737 to fly it in :-lolRay

I'll go for the support option, but for the $150 000 I expect you to fly down here sort out the problem, none of this telephone stuff !(-: Paul In SPIM

I got the receipt, but it wasn't posted yet... look for it later tonight or tomorrow.

Hello Tim and Fred, I think I speak for most, if not all of us, to thank both of you for your excellent work. Fred's tutorial got us started with our first flight. Who knows how long it would have taken if we didn't have access to the tutorial, Tim takes us way up the learning curve. What a heck of a job he did. Looking at both documents I can only say that we have to learn how to walk before we can run. A sincere thanks to both of you.Cheers

Timothy,Thanks, you and Fred make this a great plane to stay with. Unfortunately (depends on how you look at it) I am in Orlando for the week on vacation so I will have to wait to check it out. But, I wanted to say thanks for the effort to help the new guys out.By the way, went to a place called "Fantasy of Flight" today between here and Tampa. Some eccentric guy owns this place but I have to say it was pretty cool. He owns like 160 aircraft and he says he is going to restore them all. He flew a German Stork for a demo flight and it has such a low stall speed he was able to stop in mid-air for a bit and keep lift from the headwind. It was pretty interesting. I recommend it to anyone for 4-5 hours some day as a break from the park lines.Yearning for the 737...Mike

Tim: This is just what a novice like myself needs. Thanks for the time and effort you put into producing this masterpiece. Along side Fred's tutorial, and with lots of practice, I should be flying with some proficiency at some point(I can only hope)! Thanks again.Mike M.KDFW

Speaking of novices... I could have done something wrong, but has anyone else encountered this problem with KSTL, other airports seem OK... this seems to have started after I updated my AIRAC cycle, since I have flown into KSTL before this tutorial came out and didn't have any problems with SIDS or STARS showing up there. I just updated today.-JOE

Thanks Tim. I haven't been here in a several days. Nice gift to find waiting for me! 15 MB! Wow, you must've done some heavy typing. Downloading it now. Thanks again, :)Jim Richards
