September 11, 200322 yr Actually, come to think of it, you are always aware of your flap setting. When slowing down and your speed tape gets closer to UP, you know that before passing UP you will have to put down flaps to one degree, similarly when the speed tape is getting closer to the 1 indication, you know that you will have to go to flaps 5.Does that make any sense?Boaz
September 12, 200322 yr "To be completly honest here Neil the flap bugs are off a *Tad*. The flaps 5 TO is one example of this. The white bug disappearing at the wrong point etc."On the subject of white bugs, Randy.... What does the white bug on the PMDG PFD represent during approach? (Should it be there?). I assumed it was Vref plus whatever additives you had set on the Approach Ref page, but on closer inspection, it wasn't.http://members.ozemail.com.au/~b744er/737/WhiteMarker.jpgVref(40) + 5 = 133 (not 143)I was wondering why I was taking up so much runway during my landings!(Edit) Sorry... just found out what it is.... Vref plus 15.... Please ignore this message!Cheers.Ian.
