September 26, 200322 yr Hey guys I noticed last night on my trip out to Maui that the clock is not staying synched up with the system time. The box is checked in FSUPIC 3.08 to keep the clock right, but I loose about 10 mins. per 2 hrs. Anyone else noticed this???
September 26, 200322 yr I thought I had read something about it only keeping the seconds accurate to PC time but reading the FSUIPC doc that is not the case. This utility was not written by Pete but was written for FS2k2, I wonder if the time value is different in FS9 than FS2k2 thus causing it not to work?
September 26, 200322 yr Hi, You may want to consider using FSRealTime. As the name suggest, it can certainly make sure that the FS time is always synchronized to the time in the area where you are flying (and will automatically update the time if you cross time zones). Further, you have the option to set an offset such that you can actually determine which time you want your sim to run in and use it to make sure the time is updated correctly.Hope this helps :-waveBoaz
September 26, 200322 yr Author I got FSRealTime from AVSIM, but when I install it say that it is not compatible yet with 2004. So I guess I am stuck with clock problem for a bit until it gets worked out.
September 27, 200322 yr Author I should have posted last night. It does work fine. I don't know why I got that message when I installed, but the program works like a charm.
