Midway Airlines Repaint Request

Featured Replies

Has anyone considered a repaint for the 737-700 for Midway airlines. It was a small carrier based at RDU. It served about 50 flights a day and used seven 737-700 at its peak. Sorry to say that 9/11 was the final end to the nice yellow livery. They are now flying as a USAirways carrier. I would love to see the yellow bird flying again.M KennonKRDU

Oh, thanks! I can't wait to be flying again at RDU.

Pete,Lordy, you must have a long list by now! I'll pick this one up.Yummm, yellow. :)Best,Bill

I've been looking at shots of the Midway 737's on Airliners.net. Obviously they are yellow and dark blue, but which color is correct to the naked eye? I haven't seen one in person, so I can't say.Help me out here - go over to airliners.net and link me to a picture that most represents the "correct" colors, eye-wise. Note that you may need two pictures - one for the correct blue and one for the correct yellow.(Gosh, the yellow goes from bright lemon yellow to a warm sunset orange yellow. The blue from almost black to a navy blue.)http://members.cox.net/bbrowning2/Midway.jpgBest,Bill

I never noticed the stark contrast to the different shades of yellow. I searched and found a picture that I think captures the true color. Try this picture:http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=0735...atic=yes&size=LThanks! I can't wait to be flying again!!

There has been one available for a while right here on AVSIM. Just do a search for Midway.
