October 24, 200322 yr Please sign your real name on the forum, thanks! You should have complete manuals pretty soon that will cover all you need to know. [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-5/196432/winglets_lg.jpg Randy J Smith
October 24, 200322 yr Thanks...just what I was looking for. I'm not comfortable giving out my real name on a public forum on the internet as I've had bad experiences doing that before...sorry.

October 24, 200322 yr Well I am sorry to hear that. This still does not let you post on this forum without signing your name. If you refuse to follow the rules your post (s) will not be answered here by any PMDG member and or may be deleted. I leave the choice to you. [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. October 24, 200322 yr Hi RandyFor sure it was not my intention to publish something that would go against the forum's rules... As I said on my post, you could get the manual shareware program from the E.. website. I agree that its not fair to get free programs that otherwise one had to pay for it... I myself paid for the Precision Manual 737NG and am very happy with it. Please, remove my posting regarding the suggestion to get the manuals as to not to drive anyone else to draw the same conclusions. Thanks for such a great job on the 737. I am a pilot in real life and I'm amazed how close sim flights are getting to real world.Marco O.
October 24, 200322 yr It's ok Marco, I know it was not your intent, it's just many do use it to get programs including many FS things, it hurts all of us in the long run. [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-5/196432/winglets_lg.jpg Randy J Smith
October 24, 200322 yr I know you are trying to be helpful Marco, but telling someone that they can *find* any program they want from EDonkey is not the type of thing to post on this forum. I will say it loudly, people use EDonkey or other so called sharing programs for one thing only, that's to get warez or other copyrighted material without paying for it......[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. October 24, 200322 yr I really enjoy flying the 737, but I'm having some difficulties in understanding how exactly the AP works. I read through the tutorial by Fred Clausen and Timothy Metzinger and I'm getting pretty good at working the FMC. Is there anywhere I can read about how the AP works? I sometimes get messages on the FMC concerning the AP that I don't understand and would like to know what to do in those situations. Thanks

October 24, 200322 yr Well I'm sorry to hear that too. I realise that it's meant as a safeguard against annoying posts and all, but some people might not be comfortable giving out their real names at a public forum like this one. What will do is sign my first name as I have done at the other forums here at Avsim and hope that this may be enough for me to continue to get my posts answered here./Mikkel
October 24, 200322 yr Yes that is fine Mikkel and welcome sir.[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-5/196432/winglets_lg.jpg Randy J Smith
