February 25, 200422 yr Exactly, Daniel. Honestly though, I don't remember there being a want for a 1900. Well, there IS a want for a 340.
March 6, 200422 yr Commercial Member Hello everyone, reading the AVSIM front page it seems that we don't have to wish the Saa340 from PMDG anymore :)http://www.flightfactory-simulations.com/P...0B_previews.phpLooks very promising!Best regards,Markus Markus Burkhard
March 6, 200422 yr Here is another vote for the Saab and a buyer. I agree with a lot of people here the Saab is a much needed commuter for FS9 or MSFS overall. Thanks for considering it!!!
March 6, 200422 yr i think it should be a EMB120 there isnt a payware quality one out there and plus ffs is doing a saab, and it looks pretty good.
March 7, 200422 yr Well, I say go ahead and do the Saab anyway. With those guys working on the Cirrus as well, it'll be a year from now until we see their Saab, if then. They've been saying "coming soon" on the Cirrus forever. If not the Saab, then I'd go for an Emb 120, but I think a Dornier would also be a good choice. Seems every time i fly US Airways Express, I wind up riding that or a Dash. Keep in mind that some of FFS came from PSD, who promised a Saab for over a year, then left us all hanging. After that, the project migrated to FFG and still never saw the light of day after nearly a year of promises. PMDG could knock this thing out in a couple of months!CH
March 8, 200422 yr I think this Saab 340B project should not be considered, read on....................................................................FFS Announces Saab 340B Project Posted: Saturday, March 6, 2004 - 2:17Flight Factory Simulations today announced their new project for FS2004, the Saab 340B. The product is now well in development and brings several advanced features and functions. Here's what the press release says: "As is our approach, we are simulating everything possible in FS, including all main systems, such as hydraulics, pneumatics, master warning system, air conditioning, flight data recorder, and coupling to that a custom autopilot and fully reproduced FMS. We also have an incredibly detailed visual model to go with it, as well as real sounds, accurate flight model, complete manuals and several dozen liveries. To appeal to everyone, all systems can be individually set to automatic, where they take care of all chores for you, or manual, where you will be in charge of them." Several development screenshots as well as other information is available here.
March 8, 200422 yr And with the FFS one, it will have custom gauges. Not default ones! Wow....You guys should do the EMB-120 then.
March 9, 200422 yr The FFS Saab is going to be amazing, brand new from scratch and will not take years more like months. and the cirrus will be released after the Saab. I agree a emb-120 would be great too, I love that a/c also and know pmdg would do a great rendition. No reason to compete on the same a/c when we can have 2 great a/c! http://eaglesoftdg1.com/images/PS1.jpghttp://www.flightfactory-simulations.com/h...B_testpilot.jpgAdam [email protected]
March 9, 200422 yr ok, let me put it this way, what sounds better, a great saab and a great emb120 or just two saabs, ill let yall think about it.....

March 10, 200422 yr Lets see, a PMDG SAAB using the default gauges, or a FFS SAAB using brand-new custom ones. The one reason I'm only getting the 'full' versions. There's a reason I removed the default aircraft. I can stand a E120 with the default, since many look the same.
