PMDG 737 Nav Display & RealityXP Wx500 weather radar

Featured Replies

Hi, PMDG flyersThe RealityXP Wx500 weather radar has a very good approach scheme to the representation of a storm weather avoidance system, with real-time rendering technology and true to life graphics. But the panel integration still remains a problem. It is jus another

WOW! Make it happen and I'll be in line. I've got the WX500 and this is a great implementation

I am about 4 weeks ahead of you - but with the exact same concept.Robert said that unfortunatly this is a no go.But, I do agree that would add the last touch to a near perfect airplane.Richard Green

"Should look like this:"I hope not, Dirk... Looks like you have a stabilization problem... "WX STAB" is an alert (fault) message on the real 737NG ;-)Cheers.Ian.

Im using Reality-XP into my flights... I love it, and yessss I would like integrate it into EFIS panel view.. :-roll

Great implementation Dirk. I'm looking forward to it. Just make sure that this excellent new gauge will have a backward implemantation to the 600/700.This weather radar integration will work only for those of us that we have purchased the WX500 from Reality XP, or will be a standard feature?Vassilis Beglis

Dirk,Great idea - I hope something can be figured out. The configuration you show looks great and could be achieved by simply superimposing the WX500 without the bevel. If only the WX500 had a "NoFrame" switch like the Jetlines. Is there an easy way to make an overlay frame which could be layered above the WX500 to obscure the bevel and make the integration more believable?Best,sg

Hi, Vassilis Sorry, what you see en the screenshot is not a working device. Please, read again my header post.Best regards.Dirk Trotteyn (SANT)

Hi, GridleyI think the only serious approach to the integration can only be done working into the program code. So, this is a challenge for Mr. R. Randazzo Team in a next PMDG 737NG release. This is a customer (and many others) wish.Regards.Dirk Trotteyn (SANT)

I have been longing for wr for a long time now and really hope they will put in the effort to make it happen.I love to see it alredy on the 737ng and I do think that this would be the "cherry on the cake" that we've all been waiting for.David

Hi, Captains,Yes, integrating 'any' weather radar into the NG would be a max. Also, being myself a business man and trying always to run a business, I would tend to recommend that major upgrades like those should be adequatelly charged... I'd pay!BPilot

Just name the price and i`m in! :)Kev

I totally agree on paying for an upgrade like that.I would, just give me the chance. :-)David
