Anymore Requests?

Featured Replies

I mean no disrespect, however, is PMDG done making changes to the 800/900 per customer requests? The reason I ask is because everyday someone wants a change to what seems like a perfect project. I feel like we'll never get this plane if requests like changes to the color of the seats or similar are fulfilled.Chris

I don't think all requests made on the forum get into production :) Bye, Luca

Hey Vin:When the engines are off, but the aircraft has power, did you guys add the avionics sound (the little whine you hear when you board a plane)? I noticed it was missing on the -700, but it would be sweet to have it. I have a sample to show which sound I mean if you have doubts. It's really minor, so it should be really easy to add. If not, I'll add it myself... But just wondering.Daniel P.

Even when Beta testing has begun? I had no doubt you would anyway consider all requests made at an early stage. I don't mind.. it's a more complete airplane even if it takes a while longer.... :DLuca

The 738/9 will be never out...6th week of beta and counting................. or is it 5th?

Relax, it will be out. :-) I for one like the fact that they spend some time in Beta, the longer it is tested the more problem free the final product. When you design a product as complicated as this one it takes some time to shake all of the bugs out so the longer they have it the fewer bugs we will see. On the other hand though, God I wish I was a beta tester for these guys!!!!!!!!!! Philip Olsonhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg

Luca, Trust me sir PMDG's beta process is unique, they most certainly change things very late in the game! In fact I think PMDG should make a CD outlining to other developers on how to run a Beta Process and team lol! [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Thanks for the response. I guess I feel like it's never coming out. I realize that the longer the beta testing, the better chance we have of a perfect (bug free) plane. I've just seen some silly requests. Plus, a month or so and I'll be too busy to really enjoy the new package. So hurry! :)Chris

I don't care how long it takes in beta as long as the darn thing works when we get it. The 600/700 was pretty much flawless from the start, and I expect that the 800/900 will be a similar story. Speaking as one of those who long awaited the PSS A330/40 and then was bitterly disappointed when it came out with more bugs than a stray dog's fur, I'm happy to see that the guys just want to get it right.
