July 1, 200421 yr About the 747? Personally I can't wait to take one of those sleek silver Virgin 747s accross the pond :)
July 1, 200421 yr I am... I would be even more excited if I knew that Tim Metzinger (or some other extremely talented person) would be offering an Advanced Tutorial for it! PLEASE!!!Regards,Murray
July 1, 200421 yr I'm excited to, but I don't need a manual for that aircraft. ;) :)But when do we get some news, PMDG????
July 1, 200421 yr I am also very excited for the 747-400, it is going to be spectacular! But actually I'm even more excited for what comes after the 747, hopefully another short/medium-haul jet. Everyone seems to be clamoring for the 777, another glass cockpit, long-haul aircraft. Oh great. Hopefully PMDG will turn their attention to the most neglected aircraft of all time, the MD80, especially now that the LAGO version appears for all intensive purposes, to be dead as a doornail. At any rate, the 747 will be awesome. She is still a marvel of technology even 30 years after here introduction. The glass cockpit and other associated upgrades have kept her at the forefront of long-haul aviation, she's gonna be a real joy to fly!I can't wait. But please please PMDG can we have something with a little shorter legs after the 747?
July 1, 200421 yr [OT]Hasn't part of the LAGO developer team switched over to aerosoft with the MD80 project? BTW if nobody does it the MD80 would be GREAT! (with a working FMC and FLCH finally :D )[/OT]Waiting for the 744 too :9 Bye, Luca Luca Benelli PMDG & WX Radar? read here
July 1, 200421 yr >I'd take a 777 over an MD80 ANY DAY! MD80s are getting old.Yeah yeah...I already take my car to go to the bathroom...:D
July 2, 200421 yr Haha, yeah the MD80s are getting old...and?The MD80 is a workhorse, just like its family line indicates. Those NW Diesel Nines will be soldiering on for quite some time, and so will all the MD80s plying the skies today. They sure know how to build 'em in Long Beach. All I'm asking for is a break from the glass cockpit jets. A change of pace. But whatever PMDG comes out with will be a joy to fly.In addition, it does not appear Aerosoft has taken over the Mad Dog project. Even though its primary developer is now with Aerosoft, it appears Lago still owns the MD project so until they officially decide to drop it, Aerosoft won't be doing anything with it. This is just what I've gathered from their forums so I cannot say this is completely accurate, but this is according to their primary developer. So at this time it appears no one is developing this fine aircraft.
July 2, 200421 yr >Haha, yeah the MD80s are getting old...and?I prefer to look to the future, rather than fly an Antique, but that's me.
July 2, 200421 yr >>Haha, yeah the MD80s are getting old...and?>>I prefer to look to the future, rather than fly an Antique,>but that's me.Me too. In any case, from a purely personal standpoint I would looooooove a 777, maybe even before the 747, but I know that would never happen :)
July 2, 200421 yr I don't care wich one come's after the B744.But if you want to know wich are my 5 favorite aircrafts are? Here they are:1. B747 (all series but speciali the -400 serie)2. B7773. B737NG4. A330/3405. Tu154And I have already the B737NG all series from PMDG, and I have the Tu154 also and you can get it here. www.igfly.comNow I only want the B744 and maybe later the B777. If it's not from PMDG then it will be from SSW, they planned a B777 too.
July 2, 200421 yr Antique? The MD80 was produced up until 1999, if that's antique, then some of those early, trusty 777s are quite antique as well.Anyways, who is SSW? Had'nt heard anything about them? Any info would be appreciated.
July 2, 200421 yr Oh come on. SSW is the company with the famious A310.With fully function IRS alignment and every single detail as the real thing. www.http://www.simsoftworkshop.com/
