July 6, 200421 yr P.S. If you guys do decide to update the model... any chance of adding the fancy rain texture thingy to the VC windows? Killing two birds yadda yadda :)David
July 6, 200421 yr I partially fixed it. I deleted the B190 in the atc_model= part. Now ATC just says 'Beech' when giving a traffic warning to another aircraft about my presence. I can live with it this way easier then having it say Beech twice.
July 7, 200421 yr I just installed the service update for the B1900D. I restarted the computer and when I started MSFS the aircraft was missing the radios (both virtual and 2D cockpit). Anyone else have this problem and now what?R/Skip
July 7, 200421 yr Hey guys, thanks for the service pack. Looking forward to installing it.I would also like to see the model update released for the exhaust error as well as the trim control surface issue mentioned in a thread a few months ago(when trimming only one of the elevators move).20 megs is no problem for a patch in my opinion, and I am also a 56k dial-upper. LOLThanks again.Philip.
July 7, 200421 yr If you want to fix the problem with ATC saying Beech Beech 1900, change the entries under the 'General' section to this:[General]atc_type=atc_model=B190This will allow ATC to say Beech 1900. I changed this when I first got it and it works great.Eric

July 8, 200421 yr Has anyone else had issues applying the RXP panel configs to the 1.1 version of the B1900D. Im trying to use the RXP Jetline2, GNS530, and wx500. I installed the appropriate panel.cfg mod files but they aren't working as expected. On the 2d panel I can see the Jetline2 and the wx500 loads from the click button. Problem is the FS gps500 still loads for the gps via shift-3. On the VC panel the RXP GNS530 displays in the panel but when clicking it I just get the gps500 again. The garmin trainer is loaded on the taskbar but it is never displayed. PS: I downloaded the updated RXP config package as per one of the previous postings on this thread. Any Ideas? Thanks Phil.
July 8, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hi Phil, It appears as if you may have installed the wrong panel.cfg. Make sure you use the one labelled "Panel with Reality XP JetLine2 AND 530XP GPS AND WX500 Weather Radar"Best,Vin ScimonePMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
July 9, 200421 yr Vin, I have installed the 2d panel.cfg from the folder labeled "Panel with Reality XP JetLine2 AND 530XP GPS AND WX500 Weather Radar"However in the panel.vc side of the RXP config package there doesn't seem to be a corresponding folder with a panel.cfg including all 3 RXP gauge packages for the vc panel. I think thats whats messing me up. If I use the vc panel.cfg including only 2 of the 3 RXP packages then it seems to in turn break the 2d panel. Am I missing something or should there be an extra config in the package for an all 3 RXP gauge option on the vc panel? Thanks Phil.
July 9, 200421 yr Commercial Member You are missing something Phil.Redownload the RXP configuration files, follow the instructions precisely as they are written. When you unzip the archive, you will have a folder in each the panel, and the panel.vc folder, each containing the files you need.Best,Vin ScimonePMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
July 9, 200421 yr Vin, I followed the install doc and it still didnt seem to work here. I extracted the zip onto the "flight simulator 9" folder as per the instructions. After browsing into the panel folder of the B1900D and then the xp and fs9 folder here is what I have. I copy out the panel.cfg for 530xp, jetline2, and wx500, move up 2 levels and paste to overwrite. Panel with Reality XP 530XP GPSPanel with Reality XP 530XP GPS AND WX500 Weather RadarPanel with Reality XP JetLine2Panel with Reality XP JetLine2 AND 530XP GPS AND WX500 Weather RadarPanel with Reality XP JetLine2 AND 530XP GPSPanel with Reality XP JetLine2 AND WX500 Weather RadarPanel with Reality XP WX500 Weather RadarPanel without any Reality XPHere is the folder list from the panel.vc RXP for fs9 folderPanel with Reality XP 530XP GPSPanel with Reality XP 530XP GPS AND WX500 Weather RadarPanel with Reality XP JetLine2Panel with Reality XP JetLine2 AND 530XP GPSPanel with Reality XP JetLine2 AND WX500 Weather RadarPanel with Reality XP WX500 Weather RadarPanel without any Reality XPThe panel.vc side contains every option except the one for 530xp, jetline2, and wx500. I took the panel.cfg for the Jetline2 and wx500 radar and then manually replaced the window02 section from the 530XP gns version and overwrote the fs9 gps information. Now I have all 3 RXP packages displaying in both 2d and the virtual cockpit. It would seem to me that the panel.vc side of the zip package is missing the senario to include all 3 rxp gauges. Does this look like the case to you also or is this indicating something else is broken here that would force me to manually create the all 3 option for the panel.vc side. I don't see how it could work as is with the zip file that I downloaded. Thanks again Phil.
July 10, 200421 yr Commercial Member You know what Phil.. you are right and wrong, and I am right and wrong :)It looks like the folder for what you need is labeled as "Panel with Reality XP JetLine2, 530XP GPS, AND WX500 Weather Radar"We neglected to remove the commas.. so If you are using Windows XP unzip utility, it wont work. You need to use WinZip.To make your life easier, however.. Im including the panel.cfg for the VC in this post. Right click on it, and select "save as".. and rename it to panel.cfg. Then copy it into your panel.vc directory.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/83450.txt Sorry for the confusion. I was beginning to think we were both on different planets :DBest,Vin ScimonePMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
