August 25, 200421 yr Gents,I flight often from Torino to Sion, cruzing the Alps, using the 737-600. Winter is particular challenging! No way one can use FS Flight Planner, because of their awkard instructions (they tell you to land when you're at FL 150, and the runway is less than 10 nm from you...So, I fly VFR, take North (360

August 26, 200421 yr Jan-Paul,Will Sion accept a 737?From memory of the scenery I have I think even a Dash-8 can be a tight squeeze.
August 26, 200421 yr Yes, Sion is able to serve a 737. I have been there 2 times with the PMDG 737. Jan-Paul Schuchna
August 26, 200421 yr I went past Sion on the train last week. It didn't look big enough for a 737 but have a look at this,http://www.siontourism.ch/graphics/foto/18.jpegJohn
August 26, 200421 yr Yea SBRJ is currectly from where i sit the most difficult airport in the world for the 737 and then some. The circling approach onto Rwy 02R when circling to the west is simply the scariest approach i could ever imagine doing in a 737.With a circle alt of 1300' you are down among the buildings and if you don't become visual until late in the approach to simply position for landing is a feat in itself.Once you have done all that you have 1300m of Rwy to put the 73 down on.If someone can find a tougher airport that the 73 operates into daily please let me know!!SeeyaDarren
