Cross-Feed & Fuel Pump Switches-OH Panel

Featured Replies

I do not usually fly with the Virtual Cockpit Panel but thought I'd use it today. To my surprise when I clicked on the OH Panel I noticed the Fuel Cross-Over and Fuel Pump toggle switches are "NOT CLICKABLE". When I try to click the switches (in VC mode), I only get the "mouse arrow" and not the "animated hand". I have the latest update and since I do not fly with the VC I did not notice this until now. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem. As far as the 2D panel goes everything works fine. Also, while flying online I experienced another strange behaviour with the VC. I usually click on "Z" and use that view to fly. I noticed that the "M Z A L F O T R C" ICONS disappeared when in the "Z" view along with some other guages, including the "Gear panel". Everything reappeared again after a few minutes. Maybe this was just an isolated glitch when I was online. Anyway, I am more concerned with not being able to click on the Fuel switches when using the Virtual Cockpit panel.Regards,Tom Stewart

Hi Tom,Either you are flying the 600/700 base package which doesn't have a fully clickable VC. Or you are flying a 600 or 700 with the 800/900 package but without the 600/700 VC update that came as a separate download. The 800/900 has fully clickable VCs with the initial setup. The update can be found here: http://www.precisionmanuals.com/downloads/...g.asp?iFile=438From the PMDG download site:"Description: PMDG 737-800/900 Optional Model Update adds clickable VC to 737-600/700 cockpits (REQUIRES 737-800/900!!!) WARNING: Large Download 29MB! Thoroughly read instructions before installing!"Hope it helps,

Tom,due to your post not mentioning your set up, Mats has described the most obvious cause above. If this is not your problem, however, I would suggest a removal of your FSUIPC.ini file and try again.I had a similar experience which took me a month to discover that it was FSUIPC causing problems not PMDG.

Mats, Travis, thanks for the reply. I do have the 600/700 as well as the 800/900 and did download the update when it came out. It looks like I may need to apply the 600/700 fix as well. I thought the 600/700 VC was corrected automatically when the latest update was applied for the 800/900? For the time being I deleted the fsuipc.ini file and will let the game create a new one.Regards,Tom Stewart
