November 26, 200421 yr Interesting results Jana. ISA + 15C (or ISA +14C) is the flat rate temperature at sea level for most engines I'm familiar with on Boeing and Airbus airplanes. Above that temperature, the engine will put out less thrust to avoid exceeding engine limits. However, below that temperature, thrust is nearly constant (maybe a little higher, actually). This indicates that there is a problem with how thrust is modeled in the PSS and PMDG (and, I think, the PIC 767) airplanes. I wonder if it is a general MSFS issue for engine thrust modeling?Don S.
