January 30, 200521 yr Hello,Flaps of the PMDG737NG are not correctly visiually modeled... With 30 or 40degr flaps, the flaps are hanging over and in the exhaust of the 737 engines... On the real a/c, there is a small part of the flap (I believe it's the inboard flap) that remains above the exhaust flow splitting off from the rest. Please don't do that on the 747... as far as I know they are separated enough from the engines anyway (wild guess.. anyone?).I hope PMDG will answer this question like "Just wait and see what a nice 747 we are developing..."And therefor hoping, we won't burn the flaps on the 747 :-)Teeloo
January 30, 200521 yr Hmm Teeloo are you sure you are talking about the 737 -600/700/800/900 and not the 737-300/400/500 ?Here are some pics of the 600/700shttp://www.airliners.net/open.file/623855/M/http://www.airliners.net/open.file/576561/M/http://www.airliners.net/open.file/548653/M/ And here are some pics of the older 737-300/400/500shttp://www.airliners.net/open.file/761204/M/http://www.airliners.net/open.file/682815/M/http://www.airliners.net/open.file/663705/M/Armen at EGLLwww.veryquiet.com Armen L CholakianPMDG Sound Engineer

January 30, 200521 yr Teelo is right, PMDG 737 flaps are NOT well modelled...But we ALL know PMDG won't do that again ; just have a look at their B1900D... "ABSOLUTEMENT PARFAIT" (absolutely perfect in french language)... so you have an idea of the progress PMDG can make between two addons...Personaly, I'm VERRRRRY confident. Best regards, Fritz ESSONO
