November 12, 200520 yr Commercial Member (First of all - to clarify - this change was made when the Options menu was updated for the 800/900 - not with the 747).This was no oversight. In the case of the Radio Altitude, its indicator location can be either inside the artificial horizon box, or underneath the pitch FMA (to the top left of the Altimeter tape).Obviously, if you select to have a round Radio Altitude dial on the top left of the Altimeter tape, the AoA indicator cannot be put there as well. The choice was made to allow for the AoA indicator to show, whenever there's no round Radio Alt dial - if you want to be able to UNselect the AoA indicator AS WELL, that would require a software update to the entire 737 code base, not something readily doable. Keep me advised, though, and I can certainly put it on the list if we elect to update the 737 codebase in the future.Regards, Lefteris Kalamaras - Founder www.flightsimlabs.com
