Tero,You hit the numbers on the head....6,000 ft rwy is probably spot-on as to why he did what he did...Not much left considering the 3,000ft call-out a few seconds after he planted it on the numbers...Regards,jack

To allay any fears,Caneman is a pro pilot with thousands of hours in his log, if you look a bit harder you will find a reply from him where he explains what is going on.He is a strange breed, and is now a full time comic, but look at the video again, the landing he is firmly at the controls and his voice is normal. Anyone can mess about with the autopilot on but how many can put that bird on the numbers everytime. If you want to see another pro at work try this linkhttp://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7...41202&q=landingWatch the centre line!!!Daniel

Yeah yeah, the JetBlue landing....welcome to 4 months ago :(

>I do like the "glideslope" then "were on the glideslope!" LOL>no youre below it!There are many runways where the ILS and the visual glideslope do not match. It is quite possible to be on the VASI/PAPI glideslope and still get the GPWS warning. They could also be on the back course of the ILS in which case the GPWS will be yelling "glide slope" due to incorrect ILS glide slope indications. That's why the GPWS has an inhibit button.C McCarthy
