April 11, 200620 yr It wasn't hard! Googles "nautical miles conversion" and there were lots of interesting sites. Try this:http://www.metric-conversions.org/length/n...es-to-miles.htm"Nautical Miles to miles conversion calculator Nautical Miles - A unit of length used in marine navigation that is equal to a minute of arc of a great circle on a sphere. April 12, 200620 yr Quick and easy, use 1.15 to go from nm to sm which you can do in your head. Just add 10% and then half of that. 200 kts becomes 200+20+10=230 mph (about). Dan Downs KCRP
