I looked in the manual but I can't find then answer,i read somewhere on one of the type course lessons (either 1 2 or 3) explaining the FPV. you can get these lessons at the download section of the pmdg website.tomas Tom James
May 8, 200620 yr Some great tips on the FPV in TRC 3. Basically it represents the direction of the aircraft, for example say if you want a 3 degree glideslope descent you position the FPV on the 3 degree line, take a look at the TRCs, Robert did a great job
May 8, 200620 yr Commercial Member Yep, it's sorta like the total velocity vector that's on fighter jet HUDs - wherever you point it, that's exactly where the airplane is heading at that moment. So if you place it directly on the horizon line, you'll get level flight etc. It already accounts for angle of attack, wind, etc...
